I've been dealing with a certain issue. I keep getting a double nat and strict nat message. This prevents me from doing many things regarding gaming. I've tried port forwarding and reset my router to no avail. Any tips?

OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This worked!! I haven't checked out everything to see if it works but I've checked some and so far so friggin good! I got a DHCP error message after my internet provider did a controlled outage in my area to "fix some issues" and after the service update reported "everything is working fine!" I could no longer connect due to the DHCP issue which was super annoying since my internet was actually working fine BEFORE they "fixed" it. So again, thank you for taking the time to make and upload this helpful vid. Super Grateful! 🙌🙏

I got IP banned on GTA 5 Online for literally no reason so now I had to just change my IP or use my hotspot(which I did for a few days but hotspot does not last as long) in order to ever play GTA online again but this video worked bro thank you 💯

Ddg Squaddd have your cable company do a reset to your router or if you can do it yourself,I’d start there. Got mine back working like that

For me nothing works
You need to choose an IP address outside the DHCP scope of your router or you will eventually end up with an IP conflict on your network. This video should mention this.

it takes 15 secondz exactly you unplug your router wait 15 seconds plug it back in unless you have a static ip your good now😂😂

It makes no difference. What we are doing is assigning a static LAN IP address. This is not changing your public facing WAN IP address. It has no impact on people being able to hack your internet connection.

Ive noticed that my xbox will connect to the internet and I'll see IPv4 and it has open nat but as soon as i try to join a game it changes to IPv4 and IPv6 and my nat type is unavailable. (Haven't tried but i hope it works)

Apple TIPS and STUFF dynamic will change your ip after your booted so they can’t do it again... but don’t join there party

So I'm having some problems with playing games lately. A couple days ago I tried joining ark servers and was being told "could not retrieve address". Went to my in-laws to check everything (they have better internet) and I could join any server I wanted. Went home contacted my ISP and they reset my router everything worked for 24 hours peachy keen. Then yesterday it happened again, could only join OC servers and one NA server. Did some digging on the web and saw someone recommend changing your IP address. Did that asap after reading it and then everything was good. Then this morning it happened again. I've tried calling my ISP provider and talking to them and they tell me that it's the Xbox. I have no clue what to do at this point. I know this really isn't relevant to your vid I'm just looking for someone to throw me a bone so I can be rid of this problem and play videogames again.

I needdd help, so related to IPv6 I’m not sure how it works really. I have it enabled because it will show that I’m connected with ipv4&ipv6 but then my ipv6 will randomly disappear and kick me out of my games
After entering in the IP Address, Subnet and Gateway it then asked for primary DNS IPv4 and secondary. And I really don't know what to enter in there.

It makes no difference. What he showed us was his private IP address. It in no way identifies him. Without knowing what his public WAN IP address is you would not be able to DDOS / hack him.

I had a group of guys inviting me to a chat I thought they were cool because they were on my team until they started talking a lot of shit and one of them said he could see my IP address and repeated some numbers but it says it’s on automatic. Do not have a static ip address🤦♀️ its easier for someone to ddos you. Atleast have dynamic so it will change. Or use vpn witch gives the person that's trying to ddos you can't find your real location. Vpn changes every few seconds
