I think Joanna would've won the fight if she would've inflicted more damage on Zhang Weili. It was a very close fight. However, I've become a new fan of Zhang Weili. I don't usually follow mma. It was a close fight but just compare heads, fucked up her forehead massively to make her megamind and then turned her nose sideways and in XD, Zhang only got some swelling under 1 eye. Zhang was the only one with take downs as well
I admit it was a close fight, a real beat down from both fighters. However, to unseat a champ, you have to be convincing. Joanna was not convincing. Weili did more than just striking. She attempted a few take downs and got Joanna down. All Joanna did was striking, not good enough. And did you see Joanna's face afterwards, from ugly to uglier, lol.
