The audience member that would shrilly screech at the end of each incredible song should have been pilloried. I totally enjoyed their performance on Mountain Stage 11-13-22!
This music gives me shivers. Beautiful harmonizing of 3 distinct folky storyteller voices. Profound lyrics. And I also like Sylvan Esso (and just read it was nominated for a Grammy).
I just LOVE these women. Since I first heard them a decade ago, they have improved my life, ushered in joy, with their music. Thank you. I am grateful. They will be part of my journey forever I think. I hope they are safe and well. Best. Kate
Your voices are amazing and heartwarming and they fit right into mother earth beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful sorry if I said anything about my son but he is just as beautiful as all of your music your songs I wish that I could have sang like that his lullabies instead of what I sing high on the mountain tell me what you see Bear tracks Bear tracks looking back at me or if the ocean was a whiskey and I was a duck a dive to the bottom and never come up or Puff the magic dragon what I would have given to have the voices that you have you could put any baby to sleep at any time wake up any man at any time you guys are beautiful thank you my son for introducing me to the mountain man and I will pay it forward thank you for your generosity and your beautiful wonderful gifted ability to make someone feel something that is a beautiful gift you have
I wish you guys didn't cut the space inbetween songs. To me that's part of the intrigue of watching live performances---seeing how the performers interact with each other and audience, their ticks, how they decompress after a song and re-posture before starting a new one.
If the mountain Man reads NES this my son Tony which you met in Alaska get a hold of me and I'm pretty sure you know how don't play around with my son he's pretty proud not proud humble from him helping you and talking about hunting
Really interesting seeing amelia fall in and out of trances during the songs. Her eyes glazing over and her face going blank, I wonder what she's seeing out there
Now I understand why my son Tony which helped you out in Alaska at Walmart etc he has served our country over 20 years been all over the world fighting for our freedom but his roots are deep we are southern-born whether we like it or not we love our southern music the heartfelt biscuits and gravy doesn't matter home cook ed making something out of nothing that is the gift that we have never hurt my son and we will discuss southern music and we will do biscuits and gravy homemade from lard etc never hurt my child well he's a grown ass man but he's still mine and he still is my child

I don't get people who try to ruin performances like this. No one is there to hear you scream. Stop being so f*cking selfish!
Wish I could like this comment twice
Yes that was hard to hear
There is nothing better than seeing the sheer joy that flows from the faces of these gorgeous ladies when they sing.
I come back to this video over and over and over!
A decade later and I am still floored every time I hear these angelic voices.

It’s always about our stories. From the beginning of time it has been a wonderful way to pass them along through the generations.

After loving their record for a long time, watching them live helps me knows which sounds belong to which singer. Amazing!
Wow, that Hot knife cover was incredible. That's one of my favorite songs and this is a remarkable way to cover it. What a nice surprise.
Honestly, I'm having a Stendhal with that cover.
