Thank you Crochet Crowd for all the GREAT things you do for beginners to the more experienced of crocheters, from the easy to use tutorials, to free patterns,to free classes,to great tour's (maybe someday lucky enough to meet Mikey and the crowd)to just sharing a story, You have made me a life long fan! Graciously Thankful for all the hard work y'all put in to making Crochet a great craft for anyone to learn!
I have been subbed to you for years (maybe 6-7 years) and I just want to say you do such a great job. I learned how to crochet from you and I cannot say enough how easy you make it! I haven’t crocheted in a few years after my kids were born but I cannot wait to start again!! This will be such a perfect project to make for my daughter!
I just made this, had to use Baby Cruched Velvet from Bernat because the Bernat Baby Blanket Tiny is no longer available. Love the way it turned out, thanks Mikey.
Hi, I would love to make this poncho for my granddaughter. How do I calculate the number of stitches I would require for a size 4 to 5 years? Love your video tutorials 🎉🎉 Many thanks
If I wanted to make an adult size poncho, like the baby one, how many stitches would I start out with and how many inches would each side be, like the baby one except on a larger size. I am a beginner and I don't know how to size it. Thanks for all that help me.
I would look for a different pattern completely. The neck may not work in this configuration. I'm not so sure at the moment. It's approaching midnight here and I am unsure of a good answer.
Ty! For showing the construction of the diagram I’m not a beginner but I’ve never been able to figure out the way this folds 🙄 stupid me. I’ve not seen Bernat Tiny yet at local Micheals in Tennessee and I think Bernat Blanket is to lg hook size could another yarn be suggested for my 16 mo old granddaughter? I was thinking maybe Caron Cakes with the the same hook and the larger ch. amount bc she is a bit small for her age, I’ve measured her head circumference and chest Circ. Gauge may be a little different but close
I am very new to crocheting. I am wanting to make this for a 1st birthday gift. This may be a dumb question, but can I make this with a size 6 super bulky yarn and a 6.50mm hook? Or would it be better if I used size 6 super bulky yarn with a size 9 or 10 hook?
There is a different poncho we have filmed that is similar to stitch but is bigger for that age category. th-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=EYlgtVAzT9A
How would you make it smaller? My mother-in-law made this for my daughter and she just pulls the neck down and makes a skirt of it and then walks out of it. The gauge was correct also.
Then just make the narrow part not as long. It will make the neck hole smaller. Surprised it's creating a skirt. If your gauge is correct, I'm unsure what could be wrong.
Ok I think this question answers mine since I cannot get Bernat tiny yet. I’m thinking about using Caron Cakes and I’m always mindful of chest circumference and will adjust to get proper gauge. Ty.
If you want to make it bigger than I would of thought that you would just have to make the rows longer, adding more Stitches. Just like when you make a blanket you just multiple the Stitches.

Many thanks for sharing these great, clear videos and patterns, much appreciated 🌷
I love a poncho. I've never saw one this cute for a child. Always fancy little coats or sweaters.
Ah... always here to inspire.

Thank you. I think I will also make this first one for my older granddaughter.
Thank you Mikey….looks easy enough. I appreciate you explaining the pattern…always a challenge for me…
Thanks for the easy pattern
Love this thank you for sharing your tutorials are so easy to follow
You’re welcome. Enjoy your Sunday. 😀

Yeah, I think Bernat Blanket Tiny is long gone. Like anything in the yarn arts, yarns come and go. Only the staple yarns last in longevity.
I really enjoyed your work! Mine came out slightly off but nice. I call it edge! 😊 Thanks!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
The yarn I used for this was mandala. Baby yarn. weight #3 the color magic moon. It came out nice. I added a border to mine.
This is adorable, thank you sir!
Very nice thanks so much
Most welcome
Sweet thanks a bunch😇
I love your work

You are second to ask that in the past week. I really don't know because it needs a whole new design for it. I'm sorry, I just don't know.

Mikey I love your tutorials 🥰❤️❤️❤️This is so easy to make of course after watching this video😉😁
Do you sew this right or wrong side facing? Thank you
Thank you for the pattern and showing the assembly. What is the width of the bottom of the “L” . The 60 stitches across equals what?
I don't recall and unfortunately the sample has been donated to charity.
Hi how do i make it for adult s or can you make a vidio how to up scale patterns???

How do I do this for 0 to 3 months please x
I really love this pattern. Can it be adapted to an adult size?
For sure but I don't know the math to suggest what to change. You may need to play with the idea.
To cute

Nice. But please where can I find the printed pattern of this?. Is this printed pattern on your website?
Would like to make this for a 4 year old, is it possible to provide instructions for larger sizes?
I would also like to make this for my four year old granddaughter.

@@TheCrochetCrowd the link no longer works but I'm interested in making for my niece. Could you uodate and re-attach?
How do I get the pattern for toddler poncho ?
I'm pretty sure I noticed on the pattern note, it says to end the 2nd section on the wrong side.
It seems kinda important for me to watch this one.

Awesome!!! Thanks for the tutorial, what size yarn is that??
Can we use a 4 medium yarn to make this Poncho?
this yarn is thinner than 4 ply medium... it's a 3. You could try the medium, just check the gauge to be sure. Adjust hook if necessary.

Reasonable assumption. :D
@@TheCrochetCrowd but I'm still newish to crochet so I am just guessing lol.
I don't like that yarn. What can I use as a substitute?

Why do you talk so fast like it's a fire, and you have to hurry up and leave. OMG
Then find another video to watch instead of complaining.
