Tbh, i wouldn't mind if some games went with this route: less effort in graphics, more effort in details. What use is a pretty game if its mechanics are shallow?
@@fnfallout5664 Plus they’re easier to optimize and for multiplayer you don’t have to worry about stuff like low shadows and grass giving people an unfair advantage. Could also allow content to be made faster since less time needs to be put into modeling high detail assets
I think you'd like the stuff hitman47101 has made for fallout new vegas then, that guy has single handedly redone most of the animations for the guns in that game
the M60 is the best animation out of all of them
it was so time saving, the player would just get another M60, so efficient for the player!
I kinda wish the m60 didnt share reload with the ak47.

@@Alolan.Vulpix.Getting.Railed Reloads of this proficiency are of very high caliber. I've always felt these "tactical" reloads are out of place in a post-apocalypses game where the main character is just a every day joes.

Unpopular opinion: im not comfortable with the fact that these survivors are just random citizens with basic skills with guns, using professional well trained tactical reloads
Tactical is such a buzzword nowadays. Nothing special about properly handling firearms. It's not like the military gets secret sauce training or some shit. Hell, I have friends who hunt and can outshoot military cadets and enlisted soldiers.
You know there's a bunch of tactical survivor mods out there right? For example nick warden rainbow six siege,now use it

Theory: they learned how to tactical reload during the apocalypse by other people or soldiers
This really shows the importance of good animations.
The way the viewmodel hands fit/hold the weapons so nicely with no twisted fingers, arms or hands is just perfect

Tried using that mod. It looks pretty on surface, but when you try moving around in the dark with a flashlight on, the beam shakes so much it gets irritating as F to the point of making one’s eyes hurt. And this game has so many dark places there is hardly any point in turning your flashlight OFF unless there is a Witch nearby.

The ONLY recommendation I could make, is to switch the shotgun reloads with their sleight of hand versions. I think it might look a little bit better than simply speeding the previous version up. Other than that, terrific!

If there was one thing Modern Warfare always got right (aside from the original trilogy's story), it was the reloads and the crisp sounds of them.

Some of these are CW animations although it’s nice that the MAC-10 animation actually looks pretty good for CW and fits with 2019 reloads.

The reloading and pumping sounds for Chrome Shotgun, SPAS 12 and Combat Shotgun does not work. They work only for Pump Shotgun but not for those other three. Any solutions to this?

It’s because those were exclusive weapons in the German version of Left 4 Dead. They remained in the files and were added to the weapon roster officially in the Last Stand community update.

I think if I was going with trained soldiers I would go with this mod. But it’s little goofy that civilians would reload these guns tactically.
This mod is cool and all, but I don't think it beats the sense of amateur-ness hurrying that the original reload animation gives you. Remember, none of these characters probably had ever used a gun before, maybe not as extensively, but the slow reload gives you the sense that these guys, they're not equipped for this shit. They're just some buncha normal folks, and they just happen to stumble on some guns. They're careful when they're reloading, and they take their time to do it. Because they never really had to rely on guns that much going out for a walk.
What is going on with the p220 empty sounds
I personally don't like this because it doesn't make much sense for a bunch of random citizens to reload guns like this. The only one trained is Bill, but he's old.
Not saying Valve's animations are top-notch though.

The MW2019 reload animations are good, but I don't like them. I feel they're all flash and no substance - or in other words, they go for being 'fast and tacticool' over 'smooth and what a normal person would do'

as nice as these all look like, they don't fit for left 4 dead 2 thematically. those are still normal citizens, I'm not sure they'd be able to pull stuff like this out on a whim

I like it but some of these didn't match the exact time reload, so you need to reload it again when u swapped, while thinking it's already reloaded.
Yeah I have these mods and this is a seriously annoying problem
The only things i don't like are the auto-shotgun/combat shotgun reloading animations. they don't really make sense nor feel realistic to me, especially when the right hand just spawns shells out of nowhere.
This feels so cursed, im too used to the original animations without the realism to them
