Something I've noticed over the series is that Damon always is the one to bring Elena her necklace back, when she wore it. This is interesting because since season 1 the necklace always was a Stefan/Elena thing, as it was his first gift to her. But Stefan is never the one to bring it back to Elena, it is always Damon, even tho he knows what it means to Elena. Another example of Damon being selfless.
Bcos Damon loved Elena no matter what, no matter who she is with. Even if she had to be with Stefan. Whereas Stefan only loved Elena when she was innocent and they were together. Damon’s love for Elena was unconditional and stefans was conditional
Also, Stefan leaves for the entire summer, Elena doesnt suffer a single scratch. Damon leaves for one day, Elena ends up in the hospital or ends up dead. I guess this proves who Elenas PROTECTER really is. Stefan decided to leave town in 3x21 right after his ''You have me'' to Elena in 3x20, because he thought she'll choose Damon. Damon will never leave Elena no matter what happens. ;)))

This scene is so sweet. He did keep his promise. In the finale, when Alaric died, Damon came back for Elena even though she'd chosen Stefan. He came in, all worried and angry, wondering where Elena was. I don't think he'll leave her now, even though he told Stefan he'd leave Mystic Falls if she didn't choose him. Damon in all reality is a little like Katherine in the sense that I blame neither one of them for acting the way they have in all of TVD. Damon was forced to become something he never wanted because of his brother. Yeah, Stefan might have been alone afterwords, but he should have respected his decision. Elena required two signature moments for two brothers. This was her second. A reason she has Alaric compel her of Damon, but refuses to have Damon compel her of Stefan. She needs to forget why she fell for one, and remember why she un-fell for the other. The necklace is now Damon's for Delena. That's why he's the one holding onto it, and why Anna takes it from his bedroom. Her un-fall was required for Delena, so THIS had to happen. She wants to remember because she doesn't want to fall in love with Stefan again. This is every bit what loving blindly and recklessly looks like. She loved Stefan and he nearly ripped her head off.
I love this scene. Elena is being so strong and brave...starting to let go of Stefen by not putting on the necklace. Damon is so selfless...such a good friend. And Stefen is being selfish interfereing with Elena's support system in Damonz
It seems to me that Stefan is a dangerous and unstable ripper only when he´s on a bunny diet, then he tastes human blood and then tries to go back to being the good guy. Look for ex. at flaschback scenes where he´s "the ripper with no emotions and humanity", he´s totally fine and under control, he doesn´t even make his vampire face while cutting Lila´s wrist and blood is flowing underneath his nose. I would be happy if Stefan went to have fun with Bekah and Klaus and let Delena be happy :)

I love how Damon has changed a lot. He never used to care at all & his love for Elena changed that about him. Also Elena couldn't stand Damon & didn't even want to be near him at first but now she's asking "Where were you Damon?"
I LOVE DELENA! I just can't take how amazing they are together! Then when Damon says "I will never leave you again" my heart almost stopped lol.

Did anyone else notice the look she gives Damon at the end, as Stefan is leaving? Shes like what are u or we going to do now? Lol. But it does start her in lifting and learning to fight, to defend herself. She gets stronger and tougher in season 3 as it goes on.

Elena required two signature moments for two brothers. This was her second. A reason she has Alaric compel her of Damon, but refuses to have Damon compel her of Stefan. She needs to forget why she fell for one, and remember why she un-fell for the other. The necklace is now Damon's for Delena. That's why he's the one holding onto it, and why Anna takes it from his bedroom. Her un-fall was required for Delena, so THIS had to happen. She wants to remember because she doesn't want to fall in love with Stefan again. This is every bit what loving blindly and recklessly looks like. She loved Stefan and he nearly ripped her head off.

I love this scene. Elena is being so strong and brave...starting to let go of Stefen by not putting on the necklace. Damon is so selfless...such a good friend. And Stefen is being selfish interfereing with Elena's support system in Damonz

It seems to me that Stefan is a dangerous and unstable ripper only when he´s on a bunny diet, then he tastes human blood and then tries to go back to being the good guy. Look for ex. at flaschback scenes where he´s "the ripper with no emotions and humanity", he´s totally fine and under control, he doesn´t even make his vampire face while cutting Lila´s wrist and blood is flowing underneath his nose. I would be happy if Stefan went to have fun with Bekah and Klaus and let Delena be happy :)
