Thank you so much for your great and refreshing way to run your reactions! I actually already LOVE your channel!!! Found it today, and I can't wait to see more of your content! In my opinion the best way to understand Em, is to go through everything he ever spoke about and rapped that got recorded in chronological order, to see through all aspects of his topics in his music and see how he progressed lyrically through the years... and YES!!! the further thought time you will go, the more you will see more and more wordplays, metaphors and lyrical intricacies, but syllable- rhyme- and rhythmical progression in his music!!! That was happening in general in Rap, but in his specific case it will really help to show you what makes him such a genius and a unique artist!!! And by the way, you can just go on exactly like this. It's YOUR channel, and you should be just yourself and behave in the way you feel most comfortable with😉 Do not think you have to compromise your honesty or originality or anything else because of the bulls*it some dumb asses comment on your videos... I'm really enjoying getting a glimpse into your thoughts and feelings about these songs! PEACE AND LOVE FROM SWITZERLAND ❤️✌️❤️
bonnie as in bonnie and Clyde, its the name of an Eminem song where he uses the reference in regards to himself and hailie as the characters in that song. His uncle Ronnie is eminems uncle, they were around the same age and he introduced eminem to rap music, he committed suicide Also i suggest you look up the explicit version of this song, theres some huge chunks cut out of the third and fourth verses
Stan saying he would name his daughter Bonnie is as a reference to an Eminem song called '97 Bonnie and Clyde, where Bonnie is referring to his daughter Hailey.
Thank you so much for that! I always feel so clueless when I sit down to do these songs....glad to hear I'm doing something halfway right here...lol. Much appreciated, thank you!
oh my goodness, I didn't even notice that the first time. But, this is a tough one for me. Masterful but, tough. Thanks so much for being here! Much appreciated!
A nice little detail is that Stan addresses Eminem as Slim (Shady), which is not a real person but a made up alter ego. It illustrates Stan's delusion.
the discovery of Em's story telling ability. I wish I could forget this song so I can experience the twist for the first time again. This is part of the reasons I watch reaction videos. To re-experience the feeling. Thank you for reacting to this song.
This is how Eminem fans got the name Stans. And Yes I’m a Stan as Em helped me so much through his lyrics. Loving Your Reactions. I’ve watched them all today ❤❤
Yes this song was so powerful "Stan" was actually added to the dictionary cause of it to mean a obsessed fan. Based on a true story if im not mistaken. You should show your son the artist Dax. Hes got a great message in most songs. He is a christian but he does swear and stuff but his music is special. You should check out the song: Dear mom. Prepare to cry. Much love from Canada.
Eminem made a continuation to this song 12 years later for MMLP2 it is called "Bad Guy" you are going to want to check it out while Stan is fresh in your mind, there is no music video though. And yes Eminem invented the term Stan, it even got added to the dictionary.
This song really effected you. Thank you for the reaction, i appriciate you giving em some roses while we are still blessed to have him around. If you want to hear more about Mathew, Em wrote a song in his prospective many years later. The song is called bad guy. The comments are leading you in the right way, i appriciate you going back as far as infinite. 😢
Appreciate getting to understand more about this legend, and yes Stan is the word of meaning people obsessed one their favorite artist, but yeah, please do when I'm gone next by Eminem
I didn't think this was going to a good direction from the start, lol. I think I said "I don't think it's headed toward a happy ending but maybe he meets his baby...who knows." Wishful thinking, at the time, I guess. Powerful song! Thanks for being here!
As I'm sure others have mentioned, "Bad Guy" picks up the story of this song and continues it, so it's highly highly recommended, especially while this is fresh in your mind. You're exactly right about the vicious cycle.
Thank you! Yep, did "Bad Guy" this morning and just...wow. What a mind f. That video should go up some time today, if my set up here cooperates with me. Hope you get a chance to check it out. Thank you, again!
Yes Freya, the word STAN was added to the official Oxford dictionary and Language word #eminem Some of the events is real, the person in this video broke into #Eminem house 1 or 2 times. And it is more that we dont know. Em is very personal person about his life, he only let us know what we need to know.
Thank you so much! And, lol, that has actually already happened to me. I've relistened to a couple of songs and was amazed at what I missed on the channel.
Thank you -- "Bad Guy" Officially on the list. And, I'll make sure I relisten to "Stan" before I do it if it's a sequel. Thanks so much for hanging out with me a bit! Much appreciated!
Thank you. Yes, sorry about all that. I didn't intend or want a censored version. I'll get better at this...fingers crossed. And- thank you (I had tuned them out) I've fixed the chirping! Much appreciated, I hope to see you stick around!
@@FreyaReacts you’re doing an amazing job I just want you to do the best the internet can be a cruel place so I was just pre warning you before all the Stan’s come at you lol. They censored the crap out of Em during this time period, even words that didn't need censored. Don't beat yourself up about that. I appreciate you going back and listening to the uncensored version though.
Great reaction and no worries you can't always know about the censorship and this song suffers from it a lot. I would recommend "When I'm Gone" It's similar to Mockingbird but more about his viewpoint as a father trying to make things work
Thank you so much! I hope you got to check out the When I'm Gone reaction. That song...this man....geez -- it sticks with me.... in a, "it hurts so good" kinda way. Can't wait to see/hear where we go next! Thanks, again!

It might be too early in your journey to recommend this one, but, "Cleanin' Out My Closest" was another one of his earlier hard hitting songs. Fair warning: the song is about anger towards his mother about his childhood. Yes do try to find the 'dirty' version, you linked the clip of Eminem saying it himself (in the Will Smith bit), he needs to use these words to accurately express himself.
Yes! And if you do Cleanin out my closet, please do Headlights afterwards. Cleaning out my closet shows his anger towards his mom when he was younger. Headlights is his opinion after he gets older and wises up. It's a totally different message and vibe. But, it would make way more sense to do them in this order.
Thank you! "Cleaning Out My Closet" and "Headlights" (in that order, I'm told), I'm doing today! Thanks for the warning...lol. I feel like all of his songs should come with that at this point...lol

Why do you listen to the clean version every time? With Eminem, it completely changes the contest, and meaning of literally every song, as they are all heavily censored.
I believe this is the only censored version I've heard -- I believe all others have been uncensored. But, yeah, this one is my mistake, it said official video so...my bad. I did relisten to the uncensored version and yes, it's a whole other experience. But, hey, thanks!
nice reaction. as for the censorship, if you're okay with normal swear words, you might want to react to uncensored versions. your comment section seems wholesome and probably want you to react to his more meaningful songs. in my opinion, they're much better in their original form
Thank you! Yes, I definitely didn't intent or want to have the censored version. I'll get better at this....(fingers crossed!) Thank you, again! Much appreciated!
@@FreyaReacts Yeah this one is the highly edited radio version i believe, its hard to follow. Most of his songs are easy enough to follow when censored, but not this one. Another good one is sing for the moment, the way i am, rock bottom
You seem to like being truly emotional and empathic, so I, as an Em feel bad when explaining to us or kind of prepared yourself, for people to diss you, but those who do so, are Stan kind of fans alike. Please trust those nor real Em's fans. I see that so many reactors, who say boldly - we love Em, but hate you guys - to psycho Em's fans, who aspects from everyone to from people, who want to get know His music, to do nothing in life than like Stan - are freak out on Em in a sick why. Don't get me wrong - I have loved Eminem since 1996, yet not always, Em fellow fans, were the rap fans I felt the most. Of course, I met for sure more souls who were beautiful people. But please do not sorry, for nothing, cause you truly have no reason to this. I've heard this edited version a few times in these reaction videos, and i don't understand why it's edited so much. I can understand the curse words, but some of the conversational parts didn't deserve to be edited. 🤷🏾♂️
Yeah, I roasted myself pretty well in the last bit of this video (if you watched the whole thing, lol) I did go back and relisten to the uncensored version and, yeah...wow!
Alway do the lyric videos ita totally different song when it censored miss to much of the song especially stans last verse you miss to much without the swear word
lol, yeah. I definitely learned my lesson the hard way on that one, lol. And, I don't like censored versions myself I just didn't know going into this one. But, did go and listen to the uncensored version and could see just how much I missed. Bummer for the video, though.

Actually "Stanning" or "Stan did came from this song. This has got to be arguably his biggest written song with great story telling.
Ronnie was Eminem’s uncle that killed himself in ‘91 over a breakup with a girl
Stan saying he would name his daughter Bonnie is as a reference to an Eminem song called '97 Bonnie and Clyde, where Bonnie is referring to his daughter Hailey.
I appreciate how uniquely genuine you are as a reaction channel. It's refreshing.
Thank you so much for that! I always feel so clueless when I sit down to do these songs....glad to hear I'm doing something halfway right here...lol. Much appreciated, thank you!
You are correct, this is the original Stan.
I think it's poetic that eminems favorite book is the dictionary, and he added a word to it.
Good times
The reflection of Stan in the window from the lightning at the end is chilling 🙈

Don't get me wrong - I have loved Eminem since 1996, yet not always, Em fellow fans, were the rap fans I felt the most. Of course, I met for sure more souls who were beautiful people. But please do not sorry, for nothing, cause you truly have no reason to this. I, for example, feel your vm heart in these reactions, and that's all I interested more o your feelings that -🔮💎🔮 - and I love you not pretend to be kind champion in breaking bar's 💜🙂

I've heard this edited version a few times in these reaction videos, and i don't understand why it's edited so much. I can understand the curse words, but some of the conversational parts didn't deserve to be edited. 🤷🏾♂️
