I agree that some softwares are better for a task then others, but based on my experience, it all depends on how good you know the DAW that you are using. And specially for podcasting. I’ve started editing my podcast with GarageBand(was free but extremely limited) so I decided to go with LogicPro. I see some editors disagreeing with this, but since i am making very complicated sound effects and music for my podcast, all in one DAW, I don’t see why should change it . All this it boils down to: Learn your DAW IN AND OUT. Once u get to this point you can create amazing quality audio production. Just stick with what u have. If you’re not decided then the suggestions of this video are very good. Thanks guys for these amazing content that you create 👏
Thanks for the vid Steve! Studio One fan boy here. I think the biggest problem I have with Reaper is how slow navigating the wave forms/timeline is for me. I love having the ability to hold down the click button and draging to quickly move around the recording. I will admit, if I ever ditched S1, I would choose Reaper. Oh, and S1 has a pretty nice template just for podcasters.

It seems like S1 is working for you very well. Why change what’s already working?! 😀 thank you for your comment
