Thanks bro I was just out riding it and only going like quarter to half throttle and wow is it fast and not even trying until break in but I’m impressed how fast it is I’m pumped now bro you should build one you won’t regret it
@@Littleevil9975 happy asf for u bro let it break in dont do what i did ride the other bike and just start her up every morning until its broken in that should last a long time

Nice you got it running sounds good hopefully you checked your sqish. Ps the minerrelle head is a great combustion chamber design specific for that cyl and piston. Just saying. Do t want to forget great job

Cut the bend out of the muffler and weld it directly to the chamber so it runs straight out the back. You might want to use header wrap, it's going to get real hot, I know I have the same exhaust
What I did was trimmed the pipe right at the chamber and cut it back to accept a 7/8" id pipe, trimmed the pipe flush at the muffler mount and drilled it for the 7/8 pipe, welded them together with a 3" straight pipe it helped keep the exhaust gas from covering me, and the flow at high rpm. Pic is my profile
Yes my silencer bolts on just like yours it lets you turn the outlet to where you want I did trim abit off the outlet to reduce the curve a bit so the rushing air past doesn't create a airwall for escaping gases, this helps scavaging by creating a slight draw or vaccum at the final outlet.👍
@@Littleevil9975 okay cool, also never know it starts raining or something fall in there. Wind direction too, could blow the exhaust toward you. But that's wonderful it can be moved around.
Around 170 but they have all kinds and cheaper ones that look like it so depends if you want clone or real one mine is the real one but I’m sure they’re all pretty good
It seems to help Because of all the extra power this motor puts out compared to the regular motors they pick up so fast it puts a lot of stress on the chain

O ok I’m using a vm22 with 115 main and 40 pilot picks up quick but I’m going to try 125 main next people on here are saying to use between 200 and 300 Main which is crazy because I tried some anywhere around that size and all it did was kill the bike
Less stress and less breaks on the chain and easy for me on the carburetor but I’ve been doing it for years so depends on your skill level I guess on how hard it could be Now if it was a normal motorized bicycle engine I wouldn’t ever need to tensioners really
@@Littleevil9975 That makes total sense. You can tell when one has been in this game a while. Like the four bolts on the lower tensioner for a safer more stable platform. I wish I knew more when I started but the journey has been a blast. Again can’t wait to build my Minarelli!

How does it sound without the silencer I haven’t tried that yet is it a lot louder

ding dang like a souped up yd100 on a 32 tooth sprocket im first lol

Can you turn that outlet tube downward? Then wont shoot exhaust up your back! Maybe a non issue, but it sounds really good.
It actually don’t go near me but I was thinking about turning it it can be moved or take the silencer off
@@Littleevil9975 okay cool, also never know it starts raining or something fall in there. Wind direction too, could blow the exhaust toward you. But that's wonderful it can be moved around.

Got a couple questions. How difficult was the VM20 to tune? What advantages do you find with using two tensioners ?

Where you get that pipe?
I found it on eBay
@@Littleevil9975 Do you have the link for the pipe?
Don’t have it any more
That muffler came stock with 40mm intake??
It’s for 40 mm yes but fits minarelli cylinder will not fit regular motorized bike cylinders to big how it mounts

Hey man I just got this same exact pipe, how do you mount it if you don't have a mineralli? Thanks
The end won’t fit you have to cut it off and re-weld a regular size one on the end
Lil will the jog pipe work on phantom 85cc
It will work the only difference is you have to change the end on it
