The Yamaha CLP545 is a good mid-range digital piano from yamaha that features their NWX wooden white key action. The CLP545 piano also allows you to record your performance either as MIDI information, or as an audio file. Good demo, nice playing
I will be demonstrating the Roland and Kawai models in the next 7 days. Key action is a personal thing - the Kawai CA17 does have the closest action to an acoustic piano due to the full size keybed (length of keys is the same as an acoustic, so the pivot point is in the natural position). Watch this space......!
Hi. Thank you for making this video, specially for the alternatives! How does the key action on the clp545 compare against the roland and kawai pianos you mentioned? I've been looking also at the kawai cn35. But it's a lower end model.

Hi, how is CLP 535 compared to Kawai CN35?
Actually i confused between choosing Yamaha CLP 535 and Kawai CN35.
545 is not in my budget
so i am confused between yamaha 535 and CN35?
As per my guess, i think, yamaha535 is better looking and CN35 to be better in feature and playing.
Appreciate your frank opinion.
+rajiv goswami CN35 is very good and is slightly cheaper than the Yamaha CLP535. The CLp535 probably has the edge on the piano voicing, but the key action on the CN35 in my opinion has a better quality feel. Best advice is to try and compare them both side by side in a store like ours.

From your reply it looks like that CN35 would be the best bet in this price range.
