Hi . Why do my recorded audio was MID instead of WAV file?

WAV file recordings are only available on higher level Clavinova models

Midi Files are computer information files. Wav files are Audio Files which means unfortunately you wont be able to convert just the Midi file to a Wave file. They are completely different file formats.

@@CunninghamPiano That's odd. The specs on the website mention recording in WAV for the CLP 635. Reads "wav (44.1 kHz sample rate, 16-bit resolution, stereo)"

Do the wooden keys in the 645 make a lot of difference in terms of touch response compared to this? Since it is basically GH3X but with wooden keys.

The CLP-645 does feel slightly better than the 635, but they're very similar with regard to touch and response. Both are excellent digital pianos!
