Very rare to find well kept and same age hands. Well done Nadine. My favourite cerave cleanser. Love it. I wish I’d have done the same. Will do from now on. Thank you
Nadine, I cook a lot with garlic. A trick to rid your hands of the smell is to rub your fingers on something stainless steel. I once saw an advert for a small, bar soap-shaped piece of stainless steel just for this purpose. I have a stainless steel sink so I just rub my fingers on it.
Aww Nadine thank u so much for this video. I've seen how FAB your hands are and just noticed how my 38yr old hands changed drastically over the last few years!! 💌💌💌
Perfect! I saw in earlier posts that you used CND Shellac. I searched high and low for a trained CND professional and I found one very near my home. And she is also a trainer for them so she only uses CND and knows her stuff. Best product out there. I also use all my lotions, potions, acids, creams, cleansers on the back of my hands and my elbows. I’m 75, but my hands won’t give me away😜. And I never leave the house without sunscreen on my hands. Thanks for the great video. I love watching your channel. Only bad thing is some of the great products are only available in the UK. ☹️
Loved this video. I really need to take better care of all of me. I completely understand and agree, with that why shouldn't we use whats used on our face and our hands as well. Xx
Dear Nadine, I have really dry hands, I even went to dermatologist because of that, but at the end I found my own way ))) - I had at that time the ordinary's argan oil (8 bucks or something like that) for my face, which I really like for the price, so I started to use 3-4 drops on my hands every evening. and I love it, I am doing it for already 4 weeks, so far so good. and of course I am starting to wash my hands with my face wash ))) kisses to you, you are amazing.
Yet again, an excellent, thoroughly researched film Nadine, thank you. Your wisdom has made me a devotee of Slixir and my Sister the most loyal CND Shellac wearer, after you, of course
Nadine, you are amazing! Thanks not only for the great content, but I really appreciate seeing that you reply back to many of the comments...that’s dedication! Laughed at your “default” use of serums on your hands...I instinctively do that too! Love the idea of using face cleanser as hand wash...I have half of a HUGE bottle of Cetaphil cleanser that has been neglected since being converted to CeraVe...I think it’s going to be used up as hand wash. Thanks for the inspiration and information!
Lovely video Nadine, with an unintentional cliffhanger and all! I have very dry hands and use Neutrogena Concentrated Unscented Hand Cream (Norwegian Formula) all year long religiously before I go to bed and find that I need no top up during the day: wonderful stuff!
Cerve is my new hand cleanser! Thank you! I always take my excess skincare on my hands. I always use to much and have enough for my neck, chest and hands.
Nadine please update us on what the last product/tip was! Signed, someone whose hands are destroyed from working in food retail. So much good advice in this video! Love the idea of using cerave as a hand wash & to apply antiox & h acid on your hands! Sending you kisses 💗
Rachel Holbrook so sport it’s a TH-cam glitch I was just referring to Ameliorate Body Cream overnight with cotton gloves for dry chapped hands x it’s listed below x
Thanks for all the recommendations! I also hate hand cremes because they have so much essential oils for scent in them. Your hands look bomb, I'm definitely trying to get mine to be as gorgeous 😁 greets from Germany 🖖💓
Hi Nadine. I love the Cerave hydrating cleanser...being using it forever and occasionally a will wash my hands with it as well, nice tip...also I just learned a great tip for nails from a dermatologist...lactic acid will moisturize and strengthen your nails..go figure!
I bought the hand wash from Aesop, I don't know if it's too aggressive for my husband's hands, but I love the smell, and he likes too ( he's normally a solid-traditional-cheap-aggressive-soap-bar type)
The best hand cream I ever bought was an anti-ageing one with SPF from The Sanctuary (UK) but they seem to have discontinued it! I have yet to find a good replacement, would love some suggestions. I use budget high SPF face creams for now :-) oxox
If you can't find one that is in your budget just mix your own with sunscreen and your cream. The reason why this isn't a "mainstream product" is because of the way sunscreen works - it is only protecting you for a limited amount of time (eg. 30SPF = 30min of protection basically) and since we wash/use our hands constantly it is just...not worth it? Also, from an environmental perspective, unless you are using natural/chemical free sunscreen, it is toxic to our water systems so since we wash our hands so often, mass use of an SPF hand cream would have negative effects on the planet.
I am in healthcare and in a shift I can wash my hands a hundred times , I se the Cerave tub lotion or the Barrier cream we have it works very well. I have started using the retinol that I use from yeh Ordinary like yo said to do and it seems to work.
Too bad this cut off as I needed that last bit of info!!! I work in a department store cosmetics area and when I go home I want to boil my hands (and body!) to rid myself of germs from escalator, money, people!!! Lol...what to do? I do use a balm at night, but the constant cleaning thru the day and use of hand sanitizer is sooooo bad!!! Help! What was the last one?
This was wonderful! I just started doing that with my rosehip oil and some serums. Also I appreciate the tip about the CND polish. I use gel only too because my nails break and peel otherwise but the techs told me to give a break about every 3 times. Well, then all my nails break and I do not like the filing on top of my nails either. Lastly, I use Cereve in my shower and it must be the Ceramides because my skin for the last two months has felt so much better. Great channel-- love from San Francisso Nadine :) Sarah
Hello Nadine, would you suggest asking the nail salon to not buff nails if it causes damage? I assumed that it was a necessary step in the gel manicure.
please please can you tell me where you get the large size of the cereve cleanser as i now use it for shower, hand wash and bath after watching this great video, the smaller size only lasts 5 minutes ! thanks x
I love your vids! Totally going to use my CeraVe on my hands! My hands are so dry & look ancient! Do you use your spf on the back of your hands? Also how do you use CeraVe on your face, would you recommend using on dry face, the take of with the primary mircofiber face cloth? Thanks 👍😃
As a result of watching youtube video advice I recently started using 'facial skincare' including SPF on my hands because, like yourself, mine were dry and ancient. I can confirm that it is well worth it. My hands are the best they have ever been in my life! I gently exfoliate with Pixi Glow Tonic once or twice a week (the main game changer!). I can highly recommend Burts Bees lemon cuticle butter also. The Burts Bees hand salve (after hand cream) overnight seems to lock all the goodness in if you don't fancy wearing gloves ;-) oxox
I have recently started using the CeraVe hydrating cleanser as my second cleanse and morning cleanse (if I feel the need to) and I have have combo/oily ance prone skin. I love it!
I love Cerave Hydrating Cleanser but I am concerned that the UK ingredients list is different to the US version especially the ceramide content? I am trying Dr Bronners liquid wash at the moment, seems gentle enough so far. I am susceptible to contact dermatitis and used to have a wonderful cream called Dermidex that sorted outbreaks but I can no longer source it in the UK. Does anyone know of an alternative? I am dreading my next episode without it! oxox
I’ve been trying various cheaper Vit C products in the last year. Any that didn’t work out for my face, eg made the oiliness worse, I use up on my chest and hands, followed by sunscreen. Since doing so, the discolouration on my hands has definitely improved. Some great tips as always Nadine xx👌🏻💅
Apologies if this has already been asked but when we cure gels we use a uv light, is that a cancer inducing uv light or do we need to add sun screen before we cure or are we all safe ?
If you want an amazing hand cream you must try the Josie Marian Agan oil one, it makes you hands gleam, not too greasy. A great treatment hand cream is one from Ameliorate, you are blessed with those stunning long fingers, 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻Suzie
One of the first things that struck me when I first subscribed to you was how lovely your hands and nails were.
Very rare to find well kept and same age hands. Well done Nadine. My favourite cerave cleanser. Love it. I wish I’d have done the same. Will do from now on. Thank you
Cerave for hand wash, genius! And love the hand chain, I noticed it awhile ago, glad you mentioned!
Nadine your laughter is adorable
I love this tip about CeraVe cleanser for your hands!
Aww Nadine thank u so much for this video. I've seen how FAB your hands are and just noticed how my 38yr old hands changed drastically over the last few years!! 💌💌💌

Oops, not 75 - only 65. 🤪
Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm is my hand and nail saviour. My nails have never looked so good. It is well worth the money.
Loved this video. I really need to take better care of all of me. I completely understand and agree, with that why shouldn't we use whats used on our face and our hands as well. Xx

I love the palmers concentrated shea hand cream and I use jojoba oil as cuticle oil at night. I work with my hands and these are great and cheap!
Great hand advice, thank you!! Especially the nail tips, my nails cannot survive gel polish and now I know why. Appreciate your help there.
Lovely video Nadine, with an unintentional cliffhanger and all! I have very dry hands and use Neutrogena Concentrated Unscented Hand Cream (Norwegian Formula) all year long religiously before I go to bed and find that I need no top up during the day: wonderful stuff!
k ln it’s a classic and excellent x

Martynka L. Sorry TH-cam glitch it’s Ameliorate Body Cream teamed with cotton gloves at night. It has lactic Acid for dry chapped hands x
I'm obsessed eith CND patina buckle. Its funkier than I usually pick but it's so fun, like a duochrome.
The video cut off right as you were talking about dry hands :(

It cut off a little early I think but fab video with some great tips.
I’ve recently started using CND Rescue RX oil and my nails have never been so healthy. Used to suffer from dry splitting nails.
Thanks for all the recommendations! I also hate hand cremes because they have so much essential oils for scent in them. Your hands look bomb, I'm definitely trying to get mine to be as gorgeous 😁 greets from Germany 🖖💓
I’ve just tried Essie gel couture and OMG, it’s amazing it looks like cured gel nails.
I am not sure all of these products are available in the states. You are fabulous!
Hi from Florida, great ideas, your hands are beautiful.
Thank you! No one talks about nail health.
Hi Nadine.
I love the Cerave hydrating cleanser...being using it forever and occasionally a will wash my hands with it as well, nice tip...also I just learned a great tip for nails from a dermatologist...lactic acid will moisturize and strengthen your nails..go figure!
Lisa Bafundo the last product was Ameliorate Body Cream that’s loaded with lactic Acid x
I bought the hand wash from Aesop, I don't know if it's too aggressive for my husband's hands, but I love the smell, and he likes too ( he's normally a solid-traditional-cheap-aggressive-soap-bar type)
Brilliant and logical idea :) *CeraVe* all the way!
hmm, nice idea to use face wash as hand soap, cause I always find the regular hand soaps too trying on my hands:)
Why dont they put sunscreen in hand creams?
The best hand cream I ever bought was an anti-ageing one with SPF from The Sanctuary (UK) but they seem to have discontinued it! I have yet to find a good replacement, would love some suggestions. I use budget high SPF face creams for now :-) oxox
Just use your spf moisturiser on your hands lol
Supergoop makes one
Eucerin makes one. I love it

I remember you saying that Clarins hand and nail was your favourite?
Julia White it’s a good one but I find the scent off putting (although some love it) x
What’s that last product you were talking about before the video was cut off???
I have a sunscreen bottle with a pump next to my sink.
Hello Nadine, would you suggest asking the nail salon to not buff nails if it causes damage? I assumed that it was a necessary step in the gel manicure.
Alex KG My sister is a nail tech and never buffs my nails when doing my gel.
Alex KG not necessary and avoid if you have fine or splitting nails x
please please can you tell me where you get the large size of the cereve cleanser as i now use it for shower, hand wash and bath after watching this great video, the smaller size only lasts 5 minutes ! thanks x

Daniel Ridley-Tyson I use it on damp skin with a microfibre cloth and rinse well. It gets rid of my eye makeup this way.
I love Cerave Hydrating Cleanser but I am concerned that the UK ingredients list is different to the US version especially the ceramide content?
