This video was perfect instruction. Thanks to it, I got my old gasket out and new gasket in in less time than the video needed to explain it. No putty knife needed, nothing broke, even the corners were easy with the instructions given. Thank you so much!
Hoping you can help. I have a Fagor BMF 200X with a ripped gasket. Fagor went out of business and I cannot find a Fagor replacement. I measured it as 22.5"x45". There are three 1/8" holes in the gasket too. Any suggests on how to replace or fix it. The fridge still works well. Thanks.
We do sell generic gaskets that you can cut to fit the doors. Since they are generic parts we are unable to guarantee they will fit, but you can try it since the original is no longer available. The part number is TJ90SU2003. You can place that order through the website, or call us at 1-877-477-7278 to place the order over the phone.
Thanks for this video! I purchased a new gasket for my KitchenAid refrigerator and replaced the existing one, applied the petroleum jelly but it's still not sealing properly. Some broken magnets came out of the old gasket and I purchased some new magnets but I'm not quite sure where to insert them? Any help appreciated.
Hello, I recently installed a new Samsung fridge door gasket thanks to your help, now I have water line break issue. I first repaired it with a shark bite online union and it lasted bout one year and leaks from the union after you let off on the water dispenser only. I put in a new shark bite union and started failing days later and only when you let off of the water dispenser. I contacted sharkbite tech support, they explain that that union is discontinued and suggested the John Guess brand union and I got same problem on this 5/16 plastic water line. Should I try copper couplings ? What do you suggest ?
The water line goes along the back of fridge, exposed, it's a white plastic tubing. I repaired an online hole with a Shark bite coupling, it lasted one year. When you use the water dispenser it flows fine, but when you stop, somehow it causes back pressure and it make water spray out of the coupling union. It happened three times and with threw new couplings, two were sharkbite and the third is John guess. It's a 5/16 size and I made sure all my cuts were square and I did not sand the ends. Shark bite tech support said that part is discontinued and referred me to buy John guess brand. WHAT do you think? Should I try copper coupling? , there has been No plumbing work or other sites near by. Let me know your expert advice.

What is the model number of your fridge?
@@appliancepartspros KRFC302ESS00 - thanks for your response!
It doesn't appear that you would have to add magnets. This gasket should already have a magnet in it. Did you happen to order this gasket from us?
super helpful!
and also made me realize, I will just pay the guy $75 to do it for me...
Where can you get that done for $75
How to remove the remaining gasket if was ripped and stuck behind the liner from the door?
Use a putty knife to clear debris.

Which water line is broken, where is it located? What is your model number?

If that water line is damaged it will need to be replaced. Using a coupling to fix it may cause it to leak
Got it, Thank You guys again for the help, very informative.
Why are you replacing that one there's nothing wrong with it
We make these videos to help give you a general idea on how to do the repair and you can see step by step on how to do the repair.
