Really enjoyed this comparison video. No other character exhibits such a seamless progression of suits like Cap. If they would only release a STEALTH suit with the proportions and suit design of the concept Cap but with fabric material.
Is there even a guarantee or official statement from Hot Toys that they will go back and improve this figure? Given the tooling and production costs for this rushed release, I would be surprised if they actually did. It took a lot of social media complaints for them to go back and fix the BvS Batman. Meanwhile I don't see that many people complaining so far for this D23 / Endgame version.
A Cap down memory lane. It's amazing to see how far we've come in terms of all these Caps. This Endgame version will definitely stand the test of time.
I loved the Endgame Cap, Concept Cap and the Winter Soldier Cap a lot! The Endgame Cap has a really good colour contrast and matches the broken shield, the Winter soldier Cap has an awesome dark blue colour and silver strips on the chest and the Concept Cap comes with a really dark black colour that sets it apart from the others.
Great comparison Justin. The d23 cap is great, hot toys just needs to refine a few things since this is more of a prototype than the actual release which is a year away. Concept cap definitely has the best proportions as far as cap figures goes and I like the proportions on infinity war cap as well.

I have Endgame Cap on PO, but after getting a good look at the concept version here in your video, I am SO tempted to pick him up as well. I was hesitant about the black suit for a while, but the figure has really grown on me! I have the concept Iron Man in my collection now.
The Infinity War Cap is the best one for me IMO. His suit just hang more naturally, the chest is not exaggeratedly bulky and the pants tailoring allows for more posability. I'm currently doing a mod on my Age of Ultron Cap and I think I will use IW Cap nude body as the base to make it look more natural as well. Suit design wise, Age of Ultron Cap is the best for me. Enough stark colors that balances the campy side of the old Cap and more grim and darker side of the newer Cap suits. Civil War is a close second with Winter Soldier very close behind.
My all time favorite cap is the AoU. Hey justin, about what you said about the Strike suit cap, I saw a guy that made a body-swap with the MoS superman, it solved all the proportion problems. You should try it. cheers!
Thanks for this comparison video! 4:54 I have to say the angle of the camera must really be distorting my perception, because Strike Suit Cap looks better than Endgame side-by-side. The suit seems more natural and his shoulders don't bother me at all. Endgame looks like he completely skipped Leg Day and his neck looks way too skinny. Endgame almost feels like it forces the Superhero Physique too much. But again, this could be a downward view from the camera.
Dear Justin..does the headsculpt of d23 cap is swapable with infinity war cap?because i notice IW cap have longer neck than CW..curious about the body they use for d23 Cap also..please advice sir..greeting from Indonesia..
@@JustinsCollection is there no height issue on the HS..because i have issue using cap Civil War HS (helmeted) to infinity war body..it looked to short..
Great review Justin. But I still think AOU captain America figure is the best cap figure ever. The color tones are what America is all about. The endgame cap has a battle version tone to it kinda with a grey wash undertone in the abdominal region of the figure plus the head sculpt is way better more depth to the sculpt.
Another great comparison vid! The best in the biz, in my opinion. You didn't sell me on picking up the D23...but you sold me on the Concept Cap. Going to be my next purchase!

will the official release of this still come with all the accessories and facial expressions that are shown in the prototype images? Also the Shield seems to be accurately broken in those photos as well the buckles seem to be properly sized? Im confused how the D23 figure will differ from the prototype images and the overseas release.

The face looks really messed up in comparison to civil war it looks long and slim and has all that empty space underneath his eyes and helmeted part on his upper cheeks

I doubt there will be any changes. Hot Toys have said time and time again they dont care about the overseas market opinions, they only focus on HK.
Infinity war cap is my favourite still holds the top spot for me.

In terms of colours I agree. The Body is nowhere near as good as the other figures in my opinion
