A trip down memory lane. So much variety in aircraft models: Lockhheed Tristar, A310, Dornier, MD81, MD11 and even a glorious Air Algerie Boeing 727! And many more... The good old pre-SleazyJet days.... ;-)☺
British Airways World Images livery (which i quite liked actually) on the Embraer13:29, but 737 shortly after still in Landor livery - and doesn't it look classy
I knew regional turboprops used to be more common, especially before the turn of the century. But wow, they were everywhere! Not to mention that most of the wide-bodies here are trijets!
I dont know much about old airplanes, just that I really like looking at them. Would it be possible to add the aircraft type in the video for the upcoming ones?

The L-1011 with the green Saudi livery looks magic
The Saudi Tristar is one of the nicest planes ever
Fact's
had the pleasure to fly on one in 1994!
I took this plane in 1981 from Frankfurt to Jedda.
A Saudia L1011 was destroyed in a terrible fire which killed all on board. RIP all who lost their lives.
@@SnookerMafia-or6nu
that was the only accident that emergency landing was safely done but everyone was killed
Great to see that Saudia livery making a comeback 👍
33:13 : This aircraft (LX-LGB) crashed on November 6th 2002 on final approach to Luxembourg, killing 20 people on board. There were 2 survivors
rip
LOVE to remember this good old times!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Cheers from Switzerland, Matt
You're very welcome!

1:25 rip to all 301 pax and crews that were been lost their lives as the Saudia flight 163.
17 years before this video
Thanks to the incompetence of that flight crew
They all survived the landing but died by not being evacuated
This was a different plane
The one shown in the video is HZ-HM5 (scrapped?) which was a government plane meant to transport the government
Start date: 19 August 1980
Number of deaths: 301
Crew: 14
IATA flight No: SV163
ICAO flight No: SVA163
Passengers: 287
Registration: HZ-AHK
Thank you for lovely classic video

The old british airways livery was so classy.
It’s all a matter of taste for le the current livery looks fabulous but not the current crew non gender uniform

That was really the good old days the golden time for aviation. So much diversity in traffic and planes. That was was an other era.

Damn 1:24 butter
