In Norse mythology, Frigga is the name of Odin's wife; she's also translated as Frig in some circles. Also, from what I've managed to learn about the etymology of the weekdays, Wedsnday gets its name from Woden's Day (Woden is an old German name for Odin), Thursday gets its name from Thor's Day, and Friday gets its name from Frigga's Day; at least 3 days of the week are named after Norse deities. Bonus fact, Saturday is the name for Saturn's Day, Saturn being a Roman deity. Let that all sink in for a moment.
Tuesday is also named after the Germanic war god Tiw (Tiw's Day) which is Tyr in Norse.
But that's just because when Germanic cultures adopted the Roman calendar they just used their Germanic version of Roman gods (English is a Germanic language mixed with French.)
In Latin languages most of the weekdays are Roman god names except for Sunday (Domingo / God's day), Monday (moon day), or Saturday (sabbath day.)
I thought Friday meant "Freya's day".

Okay so, as a POC I think I'm in the right to explain this.
The actor who played the Black Ranger ORIGINALLY was casted as the Blue Ranger, however, according to him, the character of the Blue Ranger didn't feel right for him, so when he saw the characterization for the Black Ranger he decided to swap colors and we got what we got.
The Yellow Ranger actress wasn't actually gonna play the Yellow Ranger because, fun fact, the original actress who was gonna play that role was latina. However because of issues with money and location she left the show and the roll was given to Thuy Trang (AKA Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger) who had audition to the roll originally.
I think what some of you need to understand was that these actors WANTED to play these rolls, they were COMFORTABLE with these rolls, they knew what colors they were playing and they DIDN'T MIND THAT. You can't really say the corporations were "racist" if the actors CASTED and WANTED to play these rolls.
Oh and about Overdrive Black, the fact he's a thief in the show, it's rather more ironic then racist since he actually stole money from children with cancer. If you want more info about that, google it.
If I remember, the black ranger wanted to be the black ranger so when kids said the black ranger was their favorite, there would be no confusion. I might be wrong but that's what I heard

Racism is teaching people to hate others based on an arbitrary set of characteristics (race), taking advantage of this inbuilt tribalism to do so.
Without outside pressure, it's shown that people are pretty quick to adopt people of other races as their in group because they will have a single shared community.

The Shadow is a psychological concept described by Carl Jung and it's part of the subconscious. Take Jekyll and Hyde, for example. Jungian psychology, specifically the concept of Shadows as an "other self," are also portrayed quite well in the Persona series of games (especially 4, where the characters have to confront and actually fight their Shadow selves.) But that series is like catnip for me, so naturally when someone brings up the writings of Jung my mind goes there.

Afaik, White-Hat Hacking is specifically when a company hires you to probe for weaknesses in their systems, while Gray Hat is when you go poking in places unprompted and then send the company a surprise bug report rather than causing harm. Depending on where you live, that sort of unprompted but still polite hacking can be illegal and the company may press charges despite you doing no actual harm, simply because you sort of kind of committed digital breaking and entering

The reason why so many movies these days are dark is due to low lighting hiding imperfections in CGI, especially in lower budget productions.
About the sims npc
I think random npc's in the sims 4 are randomly generated. Generally they look okay, but if you use custom content, like for exemple cumstom lipstick or eyeshadow, some npc will use it as well but totally randomly which causes... This kind of stuff.
I got an accidental minstrel show one in base game too.

For the sims one, NPCs are randomly generated so no one actually made them. The game just picks a bunch of attributes so you can get a sim that looks like that or a sim with blue skin, green hair, dressed as a clown and probably the signature sims eyeball ring.

Yes, that was some of the wierd eye makeup that they put on the randomly generated ones. They need to leave hats, makeup and accessories off of the RG ones so they don't come out looking wacky. The random clothes are bad enough without the rest.

They could reduce the chances of this is they generate makeup, hats and accessories off of the random ones.
2:18 I think I know the answer to how this happened! It looks like it’s the sims and for npcs that randomly spawn it just randomizes all of the features for a sim and puts them out in the world. It’s most likely a sim that unluckily got randomized with a beige eyeliner and bright red lipstick making it look like… that.

What's worse about the Operation Overdrive casting was that not only was the character a thief, but so was the actor. He took an autographed banner that was supposed to be auctioned off for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He claimed that he was just using the banner as an excuse to talk to the other guests at Power Morphicon, but he still took potential money away from dying children.

13:47 From part of Wild Force to RPM (2002-2010ish) Disney produced Power Ranger seasons. They even tried to do a 're-version' of Mighty Morphin that was cancelled a few episodes in (adding special unnecessary effects that didn't sit well with damn near everyone). Around 2011, Saban bought back the rights and we got Samurai and Power Rangers on Nickelodeon. Years go by and Hasbro buys the rights to Power Rangers and it ends up on Netflix exclusively.
Operation Overdrive was a Disney season that consisted of treasure hunters, including doing some thieving. It's not a great season, but it did have one of the coolest team-ups in the whole franchise

To explain the All Whites/All blacks sports teams here in NZ:
A while ago, while playing abroad, a commentator said that our rugby team was playing like a team of "All backs" (so super defensively). This was misheard, and adopted as the teams name.
The soccer team is named the All whites as a counterpoint to the rugby team.
I also haven't heard any kiwi's have an issue with it, as our ratial tensions involve Maori/Pacifica issues, who are more brown than black, so we're much less sensitive to that than the US is.

It is something that has always had me laughing when it comes to the letters SS... now the meaning of SS, or Schutzstaffel which translated in Google Translate means "Protection Squad" in German... Now, what makes me laugh is that the same letters SS, are used for the US SS, also known as the United States Secret Service, which are also a 'Protection Squad' for the President of the United States.
Now before anyone jumps the gun, do remember that the Secret Service was formed back on July 5th 1865, way before the Schutzstaffel was even formed, which was April 4th 1925, some 60 years later.
SS has also been in use by General Motors "Super Sport" usually was a more powerful engine package in the muscle car era.

To answer the question, Mighty Morphin' Power rangers (awesome show) was the one with the black actor being the black ranger and the asian actress being the yellow ranger.
If i remember correctly, the black actor was actually supposed to play as the Blue ranger but found the 'Zord' (giant mecha) of the Black ranger cooler.
As for the Asian actress, she wasn't the first pick for the character, but the actress the studio had originally wanted had to be dropped due to budget issues and she was the alternative

OK, this one's going to be a bit beefy, so hold on: In 2001, Saban and Newscorp had a partnership known as the Fox Family Channel, formerly a CBN network. (This channel still exists as Freeform, which is why Freeform shows the 700 Club despite not wanting to, because of contractual obligations.) However, in 2001, Disney purchased this partnership, giving them ownership of all Saban properties as a whole. With that, Disney took over production of Power Rangers (with production moving to New Zealand) for every series from Ninja Storm to RPM, including the series pictured, Operation Overdrive (the worst series produced under this era.) In 2010, Haim Saban (with a new company, Saban Brands) purchased the rights to Power Rangers (and Digimon, among others) from Disney and began producing new series... Until Hasbro recently purchased the rights to Power Rangers.

He stole a signed banner at the first Powermorphicon (or is responsible for it going missing,) one that was set to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to charity. 4:40 I haven't seen chowder in forever, so take what I am about to say with a large chunk of salt. Chowder is about this little, purple, apprentice dude learning/working in a restaurant. The foods this restaurant serves has some really wacky names, like real jabberwocky by lewis carroll levels. So what happened was youtube misunderstood an ingredient chowder needed and thought they were saying something much worse.
