The woman is Morgan Stapleton, they have 5 kids now I think. She helps arrange his songs, helps him write, back-up singer, and takes care of the house, the kids. She follows him note for note 99% of the time.
If you want to see a good show, Chris, Morgan and Justin Timberlake, and full orchestra, at the 2015 country music awards..Easy to find, has well over a million youtube hits.

That man has so much soul that it IS effortless for him. There are very few artists today that are as pure as Chris. It's really refreshing to see what some consider "outlaw" country artists like him and Jamey Johnson get the recognition they deserve. Really looking forward to his show in March with Jamey Johnson and Willie Nelson

Yes, Chris Stapleton's music is absolutely friggin' phenomenal. I am blown away not only by his uniquely fantastic vocal ability but by his amazing strumming on that guitar and his unending proliferation for writing music as well as the lyrics. Just incredible.
I have never been a fan of "Country" music, but Stapleton's music transcends any genre label and might be more appropriately described as "folk song blues with a country edge."
I cannot convey enough my pure appreciation for this man's talents and sharing them with the world. ;-)

I'm a big believer in music appreciation education. I wish more schools would teach courses. Learning all the different instruments of the world and their sound, learning the history and progression of music and how it interweaves with the richness of today's music and how each generation contributes to the next. The ear has a palate - that's why we use the phrase: "taste in music", and it needs new experiences too.
