At 15 years of daily practice, I have to agree. The further progress you make, the more you realize love and compassion are the real fruits. I don't mean political involvement, not at all. I mean treating your family, strangers, animals, insects, spirits, ancestors, your own body, your own mind, ALL beings, with respect, love, compassion, appreciation, kindness, a healthy sense of guilt and remorse, etc. the fruits of this practice are beyond imagination.
I dont mind the revealing of our secrets. I do mind very bad information. Not a creature, and no releasing of spirits. It requires guidance because if the difficulty of correctly understanding.
It’s as if he cancelled out his own bad karma 😂 (revealing these secretes is considered a very bad transgression to Vajrayana Buddhists) ❤ nice to see a brother or sister in the dharma. May you know undying bliss, inseparable with emptiness

Yidams are not necessarily the same as protectors (Dharmapalas). Examples of yidams are Kalachakra, Yamantaka, Heruka, Vajrayogini, Guhyasamaja, Tara Chintamani, etc. The protectors (Dharmapalas) are the deities that protect the practitioners and the teachings. Examples of protectors are Mahakala, Vajravega, Palden Lhamo, Maha Rakta Ganapati, Rahula, etc.And these are NOT "creatures".

I have been following Daniel Ingram the past few years with amazing spiritual practice progress and he talks about doing the fire kasina and it has created incredible magic power in his experience compared to any other technique.

There was a Swiss explorer who studied Buddhist monks in Tibet in 1924, and later wrote a book. She witnessed the creation of a creature conjured in their practices, and other feats described in her book. It terrified her. I think the book was called "Magic and Mysticism in Tibet".
