i tried the pick yesterday and i fell in love(i bought the jp pick collection pack but that pick was the best in my opinion) ! is probably the best pick i ever used ,its very easy to controll and fast and dosent stuck between the strings ! also i can play licks that i cant before ! im really impressed! Jp never disappointed me!

Every time they release a new one. "Actually, this is the good one." Like they couldn't fuggin' think of using a triangular shape decades ago. There were bass-picks like that already and friggin' Daron Malakian used it on guitar as well.

I just got the JP flow 2.0 for the first time... It is honestly the best pick I have every had... the bevel is perfect.. on something like the stubby Jazz 3 it is too bevelled so you have no options on your picking angle.. but with this you do.. it is somehow grippy without being sticky our rough.. it sounds good and feels stable without being annoying large.. to whoever actually designed and thought out this pick, just congratulations it is fantastic.
It’s amazing - should be a standard in thinner gauges. John Petrucci’s picks always makes me play better than ever. They’re optimized for shred. The only flaw is the loud chirp from a thick ultex pick.
yeah exactly, I have his signature flow pick and it's super comfortable to play and to hold but the chirp is unbelievably loud so it's unfortunately unusable for me
I just came here to testify that the Trinity JP pick is amazing..It just "replaced" my Jazz 3 white 1.14mm that I played for years almost on a permanent basis. I was not a fan of previous JP picks, Flows and the JP Jazz 3s where too "Plucky"....had an annoying click tone especially when arpeggiated. And the Flow was huge!!! Transition to Trinity was super smooth, took me like 5 seconds, and it just has better accuracy than my regular Jazz 3s. Also, it feels more robust and durable..With my white J3s I wreck the tip in a few days...The Trinity definitely lasts me more..and that's only 1 out of the 3 tips :) I found the pick I was looking for....

Was a fairly quick transition, though. Great tone, feel and grip with this pick. Check ‘em out if you haven’t yet. I picked up a bunch of the new Flow picks as well and the Petrucci Flow pick kicks ass too! Really digging the 2.5, 3.0 and 420 Flow picks too. Good stuff, Dunlop!

I would love to try this pick, but I use 9-42 gauge strings in standard and drop D tuning and I don't like the way 2.0mm picks feel and sound with the lighter gauge strings. My current favorite picks are the Dunlop Flow Rabea 1.0 mm. Those picks feel and sound really nice with the 9-42s.
Years ago, I used the purple Jazz Dunlop teardrop picks which were excellent for " slicing " across the strings. But, after a finger accident two years ago, I had to switch back to larger pick sizes ( Steve Vai's picks are perfect for that ). However, I'm curious about these Petrucci picks. Some of my guitar buddies disagree with me but the shape and size/thickness of picks have a HUGE difference in terms of tone. At least, to my ears. I'll have to check these JP picks out!
Finally a pointy triangle in ultex. Im not a fan of john but it does not matter because he helped me make my wish come true. Just got a pack and i love that pick! 😍 I hope it will last 3 times longer than a single edged ultex jazz iii. 😜
@@numetalinkin I think he is asking when John switches from using to play with the pick to finger picking and holding the pick between index and middle finger. To answer the question, no idea how he did it I would say is a matter of technique and preference.. when I switch from picking to finger picking I normally hold it between my pinky and ring finger, but his technique looks easier to go back to picking..
@@Eliel7620 thats easy, he mastered the ability picks have to access new dimensions when we drop them so he can make it cross through his finger into the new position. But seriously, it seems like he is rolling it with his middle finger. I tried it and seems impossible, but maybe.

I'd gladly accept a price increase if Dunlop would/could use the more durable yellow Ultem for their signatures or non-standard JIII's. A yellow Ultex pick lasts me at least a month or two before bevels start to appear, but the JPJIII, Flow series, and Trinity all lose their tips within a weekend of 1-2h of play per day
I almost like the Flow Picks. But for small hands it's too small. I love the thickness and other parts but if you have stubby fingers you need a longer pick so you don't have to move your hand as much to reach more strings. PLEASE make Flow picks that are larger so there's more to grab onto.
they should start producing the angled picks, the speedpick, only in a triangular shape. A large buyer order for their picks. please go back to producing them and selling.
I don’t know about improving accuracy. There are some points where a few lines sound sloppy. I think anyone plays just as well or badly,, regardless the pick.

I've used the Jazz 3 Green .88 for well over 10+ yrs, would I have a hard transition into Trinity JP Pick???

I got some of these. I prefer the small pointed V Pick. It's 2.75 mm (same size and shape) and it feels much smoother and easier to play.
I wish you made more picks the same shape as your 207s in different materials and thicknesses.
