    Such a beautifully done video. Loved it.
    How do I get these roses to survive hot weather? Mine started collapsing. It's not always possible to keep the cake refrigerated right until cutting it. Any tips to make it survive the heat at least for an hour?

    The cake is absolutely BEAutiful!!! I'm curious though, did you add any sugar to the frosting?? I'm trying so hard to find a whipped cream frosting that I can use to pipe beautiful flowers with, but I need it to be a little sweet and still hold its form.

    • @gayathriraanicookspot

      Thank you. This is non dairy whipping cream which already has sugar in it. That is why I didn't add any. Dairy whipping cream is not this stable.

    While watching this video I was both enthralled by how much whipped cream there was, how wonderful the whole decoration is, and how impossible this would be for me to make, since I have a hand temperature problem and I can't use whipped cream for decorations at all.

      You can wear gloves and try using whipped cream. And also you can try working in an AC room to help with the stabilisation.

  • @annalisa14
    @annalisa14 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lovely. How many hours from start to finish for entire cake ?
    I have told men that it takes two day to make a beautiful cake and that is NOT counting gathering up the ingredients. Then we ask, how many minutes does it take to inhale the cake?

    • @chinkrisbe1508
      @chinkrisbe1508 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I took one day to bake the cake (not one whole day of course, but as a full time homemaker I have other chores I had to attend to)... then another day to prepare the fresh whipping cream / custard / what every fillings... and you cannot just put them together they have to be refrigerated to be cold enough to be easily handled and shaped... if I am lucky I could do this in the morning and then decorate the crumb coat in the evening. Otherwise, I need to crumb coat on a third day and then again further decorate the outer layer after more refrigeration... so at least 2 days if I'm very free and have everything I needed well prepared... 3-4 days average speaking!!! ... LET ALONE to prepare macarons / chocolate / fondants / gumpaste decorations, if necessary. These decorations you can prepare in advance but it takes another day... heehee...

    • @gayathriraanicookspot
      @gayathriraanicookspot  7 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @connieholthaus957
      @connieholthaus957 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You bloom gelatin in cold water (1/2 tsp gelatin : 1 Tb cold water) let it set for 2-3 min and then stick it in the microwave until it gets liquidy....wait until it cools and then add to whipped cream while whipping it

    • @gerlindapinon2529
