Jen's referring to We Will Rock You the musical!
Isn't it We Will Rock You! the musical?
The realisation from Spencer about the Vagina Monologues vs Dan knowing all about it is GOLD
Just in case you didn't realise, but; One of the most memorable scenes in movie history: Al Pacino, as Michael Corleone grabs his brother Fredo's _(played by 'the late', great John Cazale)_ face, gives him a long kiss on the lips and says, "I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart..!"
- Thus, "I know it was you, Jen. You broke my heart...!"
She was almost definitely referring to "We Will Rock You" the musical.
It's great how we see a unexpected side to Moss in this episode where he uses his geekiness to an almost heroic end
next show must be Black Books!
definitely.
YES! The wine episode especially!
@debbieday5812 especially if you love prostitute robots from the future
@@debbieday5812 Please no spoilers!
nah, league of gentlemen
I forgot the "I'm glad Jerry died" line it bloody floored me
Graham Linehan's Black Books should be next... Dylan Moran, Tamsin Greig & Bill Bailey. Another gem of a series.
The woman reading from Douglas's old interview ("I like my women like l like my toast") is Dolly Wells who played Jen's model friend who had been in a car crash and was wearing a head bandage in season 2's "The Dinner Party".
Another vote for Black Books series next!
I've watched the IT crowd countless times for 17 years, its a fresh watch with you guys! Love the vibe! Good to see you're embracing IT!
That talking fannies line is one of my favourites from the show.
The godfather references are genius. Spencer should react to this again after watching it. Dans reaction when he knew he hadnt seen it was golden.
Jen's talking about the "We Will Rock You" musical from 2002, which features songs from the band Queen.
The best episode of Community is about D&D and one of the best episodes of IT Crowd is about D&D.
D&D is a harbinger of tabletop fun.......
This is not that far from reality as well. I’m in a D&D group and it’s a good laugh.
Even all these years later, when someone says something has subtitles I can’t help but say “subtiiiitttteeelllls? I can’t read when I’m trying see things!” Such a quotable show.
Can't wait for you guys reacting to the Countdown episode.
Shhh, don't forget the first rule of Countdown club!
Thank god for Daniel. At least he actually understands the humour they're reacting to.
The Vagina Monologues, "its not for you Spencer" 😂😂😂
One of my favorite episodes. S4 pops off
We Will Rock You is a west end musical by QUEEN and Ben Elton
Hey guys, we will rock you is a musical that’s played in London for years
i must have been emotional the first time i saw this episode coz i burst into tears when roy did 😂
Watching you guys Google "We Will Rock You" was painful 😂. It's a musical based around Queen songs. A bit like what they did with the ABBA musical "Mama Mia"
" You broke my heart, I know it was you," To Jen was a direct quote From Michael to Ferodo in the Godfather. Ian Dee.
We will rock you is a musical by Ben Elton, based on Queen songs and first performed in 2002 ( kind of like Mama Mia ) .
It was the first result on Google, surprised you didn't find it.
I never got the john joke until just now "Show them johns a good time", the two guys named john, also the name "a john" that has a prostitute.
I used to work in the building directly opposite where the trophy nearly hits Jen. Always makes me laugh seeing that part (they also filmed other scenes used in the show there)
Derry girls next ❤
The first office job I had, there was a group of D&D'ers who went off to play every lunchtime. All men. I never knew what it was about. I'm amazed it's still going, I would have thought that online gaming would have taken over. I'm so glad that real life D&D is still a thing.
People who have never met irl play DnD too, there's a website dedicated to it, but most of us play over discord, I've met some life long friends on there
Talking Fannies, Fannies means something different in the UK! :P
They know.
A lot of people say The Work Outing is their favorite episode, but this has always been my favorite. The DND like RPG session is just too good.
I think this one and the Work Outing one are my joint favourites of the whole thing. Moss is the world's greatest friend, it's so cute 😄There are definitely more male D&D players but I know a number of women who are into it too. Douglas calling Jen crazy in front of the feminists though 😂It's how he delivers it - just perfect. Thanks guys!
I reckon these guys would probably like Garth Marenghi's DarkPlace.
Possibly the greatest televisual event since Quantum Leap, and I don't say that lightly.
Very True,But can they handle the horror master that is Garth Merenghi(Dreaweaver,Visionary)?
I've spent 3 evenings with my girl so far (she's in a far away country). We've watched 2 episodes of IT crowd already. Priorities ;-)
the series is getting stronger as the seasons progress....
The Vagina Monologues was a real show about the taboos around women discussing sex (I think). Richard Herring had a comedy show in the next room at The Edinburgh Festival & was drowned out by the noise of all the women. His show the next year was called Talking Cock. 😂
RHLSTP!
as the cool kids say.
RHLSTP!@@EmperorSmith
Also, the D&D group I run is comprised of 5 females and one male... So you would be surprised...
sounds horrible.
Love how oblivious to everything the guy on the left is
Richard Ayoade is in "THE WATCH" with Vince Vaughn & Ben Stiller...pretty good😆😄😂😅😂😄
You have to watch Black Books which Graham Linehan also helped to write
If you guys REALLY like Matt Berry - then I DARE you to watch _Snuff Box_ (where he co-stars with Rich Fulcher, as a fellow hangman). And I believe we've also mentioned that other Hiden Gem - _Garth Marenghi's Darkplace_ ? The darker side of British Humour - which will NOT appeal to fans of _I Love Lucy_ . Viewer discretion IS advised! Now get weaving Lads: you can only live ONE Life at a time ;-)
She's not talking about the documentary, she's talking about the a musical theatre that was showing in the West End for at least a couple of decades, it used to have a huge statue of Freddie Mercury, just in front of the Tottenham Court Road station.
One of my favourites! Especially as a fan of D&D. The next one is a classic too!
Guys you've got it all wrong. We will rock you is a Queen (the band not the monarch) themed London west end musical where the audience is encouraged to participate. It has been described at prole feed at its very worst.
MATT BERRY (DOUGLAS) IS EXTREMELY FUNNY IN BEST COMEDY CURRENTLY ON, "WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS" 🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷😆😄😅🕷🕸🕷🕸
Roy in your own words “sorry for you loss move on.”
So when is the inaugural Embrace the Suck Dungeons & Dragons adventure?
We will rock you is the stage musical with Queens music
We will rock you the musical began in 2002
aaahhh... you're perfectly fine Spence. I don't expect you to be familiar with a play that was popular back in 1996. In fact there's plenty of plays and Broadway shows that I'm not familiar with either. So you're fine.
I always find myself so drawn into the Elfin Queen bit that I can never understand why the audience is laughing at what seems such a poignant moment.
1 season and a special left. Gone so quickly
You must do Black Books, another Graham Linehan series! Hilarious and has Bill Bailey in it!
Love how two of them are called John. So random.
It's less random later on when Jen gives the pep talk to Roy and tells him to go and make those Johns happy - which I only spotted when watching it this time..
You guys are the best.
I wonder what the guys would think of 'Toast'? Or is that a bit too British?
The pilot is awful though so if they watched that I doubt they'd continue with it.
@@Lones555 What?
It has Matt Berry - therefore it is amazing.
I'VE SEEN IT CROWD ON OTHER REACTION CHANNELS WITH NO "COPYRIGHT REASON" NEEDED ON SCREEN!!!👍👍👍👍
Please, PLEASE Send this episode to the 'Wimmin' Writers of 'She-Hulk'...!!!
We will rock you is a west end musicalllllll
0:00 Have you two never seen the Godfather trilogy?
I would've said read, but I can't claim the high ground there!🤣
The pennies joke is that she has her butt clenched so tight she's holding pennies i in her cheeks.
Isn't Daniel's son a bit young to be going to the bounce house? Although it's good for a father and son to have a hobby together - bit of a surprising one, though!
Black books
We used to do our D&D games in a gaming cafe. They had 1000s of games, plus served food and drink. Don't go there as much because it's a bit pricey, but it was great and always packed, had to book the table!
Oh and our D&D games had plenty of sex in them, very Game of Thrones! xD
I'm a autistic Dungeon master for a table of autistic players and so is my son
That Monologues show is a series of women talking about their female experience basically. You weren’t far off.
always thought it was hypocritical, women who use a raunchy title to bring in attention and money but don't deliver on the title expectations.
@@redf7209the word vagina is not raunchy 😂
@@Aliciae411 must admit i was searching for a better word that was acceptable
I think there's a 122 bit Vietnamese dubbed version you missed.
fantastico guys!!!
have the Guys checked out the Spinal Tap movie?
It's OK, Spencer. I know you misunderstood Vagina Monolgues but if you are interested in some powerful, feminist Slam Poetry I'm pretty sure I can get you and Daniel some tickets to go see "Period Flows", coming to a town near you soon
GUYS YOU GOTTA WATCH GIMME GIMME for same silliness and stupidness as the it crowd....and even better its totally non pc
Fabulously hard-hitting, unrestrained non-PC comedy. I'm sure Spencer and Daniel will appreciate! 😅
Is that a Brent Kirschner t-shirt?
My friend just directed Vagina Monologues, premiering this week in their theater.. so yeah, it is still playing in theaters.
D and d is the greatest
I know… I used to love that cartoon!
@@ZombieRodeo yes it wasGreat 👍
Don't worry Spencer, I'm a woman and I don't wanna listen to women talking
This is one of my favourite episodes! 😂 Are dragons gay Phil?! Mighty warrior priests welding golden staffs, I suppose they're gay too!!
golden staffs are a bit poncy, in my day we used iron staffs and they cast and smashed just fine
I mean - I'm not going to lie. I know it's not a British film or anything, but I would 100% watch . . . Well not so much a reaction as . . . Daniel introducing Spencer to the magnificence that is 'The Godfather' and 'The Godfather II'
And "once upon a time in America"
and american history x
@@the98themperoroftheholybri33
There's no such thing as watching too many movies
Have you seen Archer yet? must see 😂
MEN TO BOYS...😂😂😂😂
Eifeltower!
30:45
Massive "cinephile".
Who's not, Chinese girls are very pretty ;P
If ever you want to get revenge on a mate for parking you take him to watch the v monologues.
I'm a feminist...you're forgiven👌👌👌💋
I come for the moral lectures :)
Spend more time on teaching us. We need that.
Thank you.
I get that the group that plays DnD is largely homogenous, but you are not fully experiencing DnD if you just play with people that look like and have similar experiences to you. Variety truly is the spice of life, and you are going to have some BORING play if everyone is just a cis/het white man.
There no such thing as cia plus nothing wrong with lists of white men. Think you have issues mate and I'm female fyi
you want to use the comment about not listening now but i sometimes get the impression you are both living in a bunker and there is no one else to use such a term on. 😶
I would LOVE to get a "Shithead of the Year" award from a bunch of feminists.
Shame you have to issue mini disclaimers after laughing at certain subjects. Britisn culture in particular has progressed through the use of humour to address issues. The golden staff of cancelation is often wielded nowadays.
I can assure you that in no point in my life will I ever be sad and pathetic enough to play D&D.
