WW2 reenactment Event : The liberation of Haacht + Visiting a WW2 Wellington bomber crash site !

  • At Saterday and sunday , 18 & 19th of May 2024, there was again a WW2 reenactment event near the Belgian WW2 Trenches of 'Haachs Broek'.
    They were part of the KW-line, a Belgian defence line to hold and stop the emerging Germans in 1940.
    Belgian, English, US and German reenactors ensured that the visitors imagined themselves 77 years back in time.
    During the vehicle tour ride, we visited the crash site of a Wellington III bomber with reference X3798, who was shot down by a German fighter plane on August 12, 1942.
    I'm sorry for the delay of his video, but our first dog died on that sunday, the 19th, so my mind wasn't ready for editing this video.
