I prefer playing in Band more than doing it alone, because first of all it's so wonderful playing with other people especially in a jazz (or other improvised music) context when everyone is improvising and exchanging ideas. And I also like that everyone brings their own unique songideas to the table which makes the band sound different from tune to tune. I can also see the other side when you have a very specific idea in your head and you cant accept a deviation from it. But what always is the fun of playing live it adds the fun of making other people happy to the already big fun of playing with your friends/bandmates. Great Video as Always!

Como dije, la única ocasión en que me gusta tocar en grupo es en los "jams" de jazz. En sí, la improvisación colectiva me resulta mucho más provechosa que la individual.
I made a middle school band. And I agree bandmates will disagree with something you think is right. And sometimes anyone really will go “hey hit that thing that goes boom on your drums.” Or “Hey take out the cymbal on your left and that drum that you keep hitting.” I’m like 😑. So I think there are Plenty advantages and disadvantages to each, seeing as I have done both.

Though I love playing in a band but now a days I prefer writing and recording stuffs in my bedroom.
