    What's your opinion on the M2C hex extenders? Have you had any issues with your wheels ?

    • @WestOzRC
      @WestOzRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Although I don’t have any of the extenders on any of my rigs (which I’m actually thinking of putting on my K6) I personally think they are great idea in making the rig have a wider stance thus making it more stable in turns.
      As for the Mojo, I wouldn’t use them due to the fact the wheels are inside the guards. I now run the Trenches 3.8 LP with the alloy zero offset to keep the wholes inside the guards and I absolutely love the look. It handles very differently so the just had to get use to it but I’m really impressed how well they run. 😎🤙🏼👍🏼

    What's the heatsink on that motor with the dual fans ? Wanna get one and add the rocket fans.

    • @WestOzRC
      @WestOzRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for the view and comment bro. It’s not actually a heat sink, it’s a bracket that holds onto the motor and the fans bolt to it. You’ll also need Rocket RC 40mm fans. Here is the link

    Do you think a heatsink without fans would be enough to keep the temperature down ? Pretty sure the one for the xmaxx fits that motor.

    • @WestOzRC
      @WestOzRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It all depends on a few variables. If you are running inner guards/fenders and a 23T pinion like I am then probably not bro. If you can find a heat sink with dual fans the get it for sure. I find that my set up is good but on hot days she does hit thermal. I’m looking at dropping the pinion to 21T. She hits 60mph on the 23T but I don’t need to go that fast to bash her. 😎👊🏼🤙🏼

      @@WestOzRC Good stuff man. Thanks for your advice. It gets pretty damn hot here in the summer, so I'm gonna go ahead and add the rocket fans and bracket. Running a 22t over here. Ordered the scorched fenders too. I appreciate you taking the time to write back man!

    Cheers for the motor wire bracket idea 👌
    I'm only running a 20t pinion with the same max6 combo 4985 1650kv
    And would be interesting to see how the prototype solid wheels would go on the Mojave with its loose suspension setup 🤔 lol.
    I'd definitely go see they boys in Kewdale to get some solids made up if it can survive the body roll drifts.

    • @WestOzRC
      @WestOzRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the view and comment brother. The 20T will keep it nice and cool for ya.
      Nah I’ll be sticking with the solids on the Infraction only as it’s the bitumen that chews up the Hoons and GRP’s. The Mojo will keep the standard tyres but will look into either Prolines or PowerHobby wheels for it.
      And yeh gonna go see Troy at AE Components today. I have an idea for Proline wheels I wanna try. Stay tuned bro and thanks again. 😎🤙🏼
