In the spirit of the original performance of Silent Night, this is a simple jam that feature the Yamaha Reface CP that I just recently acquired. I used an existing loop I had programmed into the Novation Circuit Rhythm, and ran the combined signal through the FX on the Roland SP-404 mkII. I love the Reface CP, but I find the mini keys a little tricky to perform on. I've been using an external keyboard while checking out the unit, but decided to play on the Reface itself to keep everything on camera.

Those keys are dreamy. Reminded me of Boards of Canada.

I have also been thinking about the Reface unit lately. Super good sound, portable (to take to work), and gig-ready with a larger controller.
    Great track and playing!

Thanks. It's all that, along with a fairly accurate response that evokes the tones of the keyboards it emulates. Not to mention the virtual pedalboard above the key bed that gives it classic sonic shaping capabilities.

I love it! Nice vibe. I’m Hoping to pick up a Reface sometime soon to play with my rhythm. How do you like to connect the two machines?

In this case, I ran the Reface CP into the Circuit Rhythm’s audio inputs. Then I ran the Circuit Rhythm’s output through the effects on the SP404 mkII.
