Another well put together video. Thanks again Mark.
Excellent informative video well done Mark
I were here today I'm from Dublin hope u enjoyed the town
So clean so neat and tidy
The famous Enterprise train is easily the nicest way to travel between Belfast & Dublin. There's no check-in, no border formalities, always places, and it's a pleasant ride on a comfortable train as you can see in the video. For practical info see www.seat61.com/train-travel-in-ireland.htm#dublin-to-belfast-by-train
Beautiful country views
good video
May I know the cost dublin to belfast round trip in June 2019?
sweet binbin Go to Irish Rail website, you can see fares and book tickets
Dublin and Belfast are my favorite EU cities.
( Daan Willemsen ) Me too
Not for long.
Daan Willemsen i live in belfast!! ☺️Its a fun but noisy city
went on it just after that service started... none of that high tech stuff ... good to see it now
I was on the newly refurbished enterprise the other day and can you please do a video of the Grand Hibernian if you're still in Ireland
I will, if Belmond give me the chance. It's not operating yet.
There's no immigration station between Dublin to NI?
No. Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain are all in the Common Travel Area.
What is the top speed of the enterprise trains?
Enterprising Rail Films wtf are you on abou its 160
Hot Dog 160 km/h not mph.
sorry
Warp 9.
They can go faster but the line speed is 90mph
You Missed THE BRIDGE!!! THE 18 ARCHES AT CRAIGMORE!!!! You are just going to have to beam aboard the 'Ship' The Enterprise And Do It All Again...Lol....Great Video Thanks, But You Missed The Best Part
Nice video. How did passport control work? Did they just check your documents in Belfast?
There is free movement between Ireland and N.Ireland, so no passport check at all. All very easy!
Mark Smith Thanks! I am visiting Ireland next summer. Also, I plan on stopping in Northern Ireland for a couple of days. So the free movement extends to tourists as well?
If they had a passport check to check whether I was a Brit or not so they could allow me free movement if I was and do another passport check if I wasn't, it wouldn't be free movement... ;0)
See - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Ireland-United_Kingdom_border
I thought there isnt passport check..
How long does the trip take? #travelgoals
The Enterprise train from Dublin to Belfast is on a average 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Mm-people need to know that the UK Govt are thinking of introducing an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) to enter the UK (incl NI). Not applicable to Irish or UK passport holders- as a result of the UK as a whole leaving the EU. England and Wales, by the skin of their teeth, voted Brexit (NI voted 56% Bremain and Scotland voted 62% Bremain). So this would apply to (say) a Dutch national travelling from Dublin to Belfast on the good old Enterprise (also of course to, say, any American travelling up there). The 2 Irish tourist boards (NI and the Republic) and the Irish Govt are aghast and have objected strongly. Tho how they are going to enforce this on private cars by road beats me (too many border crossing points). Tho it would be easy to do so re cross border rail and coach. Utterly daft IMO -but then I hold an Irish passport!!
I love Ireland , trains are a bit 1900s
