Is there a man-made structure in the world more intricate, large, or complex than this? Surprising how I don’t hear much about it so I’m curious.
Anyone who thinks this cathedral isnt among the top 3 most magnificient in the world doesnt understand beauty and architecture. I would put this one, the Vatican, and the Florence Cathedral all at the top 3 in the world. They are beyond all others.

@@trinibaduk9012 i respect your opinion, but i feel there are much more amazingly decorated and designed Churches. Starting with the Vatican, continuing with the Venice Cathedral, Milan and Florence, St Pauls in London, Basel in Russia, and I can keep going. I do respect Sagrada Familia. Its a cools design.
Thank you for your comment (now over 6 years old). I have been to the Vatican and a few other wonderful churches. But this one, which I've never visited, I think may be my favorite. When I first saw photographs of the facade and general outsides, I was absolutely amazed. The intricacy, complexity, and overall shape and structure are truly overwhelming!

Last year I made the climb to the top to praise the sun! I finally became grossly incandescent!
It was surely is a beautiful building, even the statue out front with all the pigeon poop on it. that's where you can take the best picture of the front face of the cathedral to get a sense of scale. The front doors also have way more detail than I expected. A masterpiece!

In the cathedral of Milan there is the Incorrupt body of St. Charles Borromeo. If I ever get over to Italy again I would put this cathedral on my list of places to visit.

I was here in milan and got to look at this beautiful cathedral. I loved the square surrounding it the giant lion statue underneath the horse statue was like wow one of my favorites. Beautiful people beautiful city.Italy is one of my favorite countries the Italian men are so nice too so polite and respectful towards women nothing like the stereotypes you see on tv even if my dad did love the godfather and the sopranos. The Italian women are so stylish especially in milan 💯🦁
