Beautiful breathtaking views 👌 I ‘m planning to visit there next month . Could you please guide me if I will stay in Zurich and will get the Swiss family pass with 8 year old and 11 years old so will they charge for reserving a seats?

The journey is included in swiss pass. Seat reservation is optional, not mandatory but I would recommend you to reserve seats if you need preferred seats. We went in mid may and there were less tourists then, it may be more now. I had a Global eurail pass for first class and pretty much entire coach was empty, we were the only ones who reserved seats. We took the same train while returning from lucerne and travelled without reservation.

The only trains with obligatory reservations are the legendary trains called GLACIER EXPRESS and the BERNINA EXPRESS (as well as the red bus of the same name that connects Lugano with Tirano and vice versa). All other trains almost never require reservations, not even the Eurocity trains to and from Italy if they are used in domestic Swiss traffic (up to Domodossola or up to Chiasso). The only trains for which it is always advisable to reserve a seat are the VIGEZZO VISION panoramic trains which connect Domodossola (Italy) with Locarno. The Eurail Pass is also valid on these narrow gauge trains

Too bad about people in First Class that can't shut up and annoy everyone else. Otherwise, great video.

I know right, that was the only part that made us feel so irritated during the entire journey, it was too loud, they weren’t being considerate at all!

@@BayAreaExplorer unfortunately, it tends to be a cultural thing. In their culture (s), it's normal. I just wish people would look around, pay more attention, realize they are in someone else's home and modify their behavior accordingly.

@@3nuklr being considerate seems to be the hardest thing to do for humans in today’s world.
