Discovered SRV whilst doing a stint for possesion and supply long time ago back in 1984, and every Friday night there was a blues and rock channel on the radio and I suddenly sat bolt-up and thought, " who the hell is this.?" Marvelous. About the same time I discovered Steve Vai as well and just recently I've discovered an incredable little guy with unbelievable talent called TAJ FARRENT from Australia. Does a great take on SRV, all the great blues guys, Jimmy Hendricks but absolutely loves Gary Moore....and he's only 11yrs old. He is the future..!! I KID YOU NOT. But if it wasn't for the greats like SRV, there wouldn't be a template. RIP SRV. Tragic loss.
