That liquor is very famous in our region, but I also do not enjoy it that much. The best choice is a pear brandy viljamovka rakija. I would recommend it to everybody. Second and third to it come quince and apricot rakijas.... just my opinion. :) Excellent market in Subotica. Many people all over Vojvodina come to shop there. Many goods are imported from Hungary without taxes, since we aren't their citizens, we do not pay additional taxes, so it is pretty much affordable choice. Enjoy your time in Serbia. Put some ice and slice of lemon in a glass and pour that Gorki list over it and it should be better, but it is really an acquired taste.
