    I have 16 varieties of Aglaonema and I place them in my balcony which has a good humidity and indirect sunlight. You are right, most of the aglao with green leaves has less maintainance than with the pink leaves. Thanks for sharing.

      The more green the leaves have, the more tolerant they are of lower light settings. However I’m sure they all prefer bright indirect light as most houseplants do 😊.

    My plant is dying and I don’t have any ideas why. It was growing beautifully for month. I didn’t move it from its spot. I have the pink and red one. Leaves turning yellow and dropping off but I see pups shooting up in the soil. Can someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong. I water with filtered water 🤔 and I bottom water.

    Hi. I wonder if you can help me figure out why my aglaonema is drooping. It had only a few mealy bugs so I divided the stems, repotted in different pots, sprayed with a neem oil and soapy water mix, then rinsed it off. The following day all of the plants were severely drooping over as if they were dying. I hate to toss them out, but don't know what to do. What would you do?

    • @GloriasPlants
      @GloriasPlants  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't generally use neem oil or soapy water mix to treat pests on my plants so I can't comment on how those affect the plants. If the root system is ok, the plant should not droop as that is a sign it is unable to take up water from the root system. For mealy bugs I just use alcohol and cotton swabs to spot treat and that usually gets rid of the pests. It's quite uncommon for mealy bugs to cause that much damage that an entire plant will die as it is the most "gentle" type of pest a plant can get...unless it's a HUGE infestation. Hope that helps!

    • @GloriasPlants

      should probably check the roots to see if it has been overwatered, leading to root rot. If that's the case, i usually transfer my plants to water to rehab before going back into soil

    I have a pink splash and one of the bottom leaves is yellow and a couple are curling inward. What am I doing or not doing?

    • @GloriasPlants
      @GloriasPlants  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best to check the roots. It’s normal to shed older leaves but if they’re curling it usually means it needs water but if you’ve watered it recently, could mean root rot and the roots aren’t able to absorb more water? Just a suggestion but best to check roots

    Is it okay to spray the leaves everyday? And watering the soil 6-10 days?

    • @GloriasPlants
      @GloriasPlants  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it depends on how quickly your soil dries so hard to make a generalization. I generally water mine about every 7 days based on my own environment and medium. i personally don't find harm in spraying leaves but i know some people are super against it because it only increases the humidity for like a minute before it dries up again LOL but i do it anyway

    • @GloriasPlants
