@ ah apologies! I misread your message! Based on my testing the Chrome Tour X is the ball out of these three which stops quickest through the bag at my swing speeds! The balancing act for you will be that other balls could give you a bit more distance than these options and can stop just as quickly by prioritising a higher ball flight to stop vs spin (like premium golf balls)! I’d therefore definitely consider looking at the more budget end of golf balls as balls like the Titleist TruFeel, TaylorMade Speedsoft, Callaway Supersoft and Srixon AD333 (or Q Star depending on where you live) do tend to offer a good package of higher ball flight and decent spin and can stop just as quick! However if you’re happy paying a bit more do consider the Bridgestone Tour B RX or RXS - these are the premium Bridgestone balls designed for slower swing speeds and in my testing are probably the best all round performance in a premium golf ball for average speed players! If you prefer Callaway check out the ERC Soft too - cheaper and in my opinion just as good for golfers like me! There’s videos of all of those on my channel. I hope that helps! 👍🏼

Hi Richard! The current clubs I use in these videos are Driver (Ping G430 Max), 7 iron and PW (Mizuno JPX923 Forged) and 60 degree wedge (Vokey SM9). When my new hybrid arrives I’ll try to include some hybrid shots in future ball reviews! 👍🏼
Another very interesting test, which is very relatable to my handicap and swing speed! I have been playing Chrome Soft (Truvis) for many years. Love how soft they feel, especially around approach shots and around the green. Maybe it's time to test something different 🙂
Hi Torbjørn! I've always loved Chrome Soft - it was the first 'premium' ball I ever played and like you it was always the feel! Personally I still think they are a great ball if those are the numbers you're looking for but like I said in the video there's definitely other balls I've tested that feel as good and at £10 a dozen cheaper! The Tour and Tour X especially, did seriously impress me though! All the best!

How was durability? I have similar speed and handicap to you, but I could scuff a yellow chrome soft X a lot quicker/easier than a yellow Pro V1x. Hopefully Callaway improved durability with the Tour X

I hit about 60-70 shots with each ball to capture the data sets and I was impressed by durability hitting into the screen (some balls I do notice scuff in that time and I try to call it out when I see it!) however I’ve not taken any of them out on the course yet! Given how soft the Tour X cover felt for a firm golf ball fingers crossed, like you, that there’s no issues there! Thank you for watching! 👍🏼

I haven’t had the chance to do any on course testing bar a bit of short game on the practice green but in my studio testing I hit 70-80 shots with each ball, hitting into a screen and didn’t notice any issues (from memory) with the durability. Is it on the course you’ve seen the issues? All the best! 👍🏼

If you’re going to do a test like this you should post the lofts of the irons. 7 iron means nothing by its self. Should be a 34 deg 7 iron for a true test. Jack lofts produce to low of spin. I am guessing your 7 iron is probably 28-29 degrees.
Hi Spud! I’m using Mizuno JPX923 Forged with one degree weaker lofts so my 7 iron is 31 degrees. I get your point however my channel is targeting the average golfer with average swing speeds like mine so most are playing Players Distance or Game Improvement irons with stronger lofts so I hope the videos are relatable for the many not the few! I’m also naturally a low spin player (I mention this in a lot of my videos so try to tell people to bear that in mind!). Thanks for watching and for your comment! As much as the Tour and Tour X seriously impressed me, I just find it hard to pay those prices and it not be a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x (so maybe I've been sucked into the marketing! haha!).
