Having a wink and nod to the old ride and expanding it into a scare maze is genius. I wish some UK parks would follow suit in the creativity department, we're so behind that it's embarrassing.
This is my favorite HHN house ever. As a longtime fan of Dueling Dragons, this makes me so happy. The attention to detail and theming, the story behind it all. This house is a wonderful tribute to the original Dueling Dragons ride, and I’m so glad that Universal did this. I’m going to miss it when HHN is over.
This was not only one of the best tributes I've seen to an original classic attraction. but one of the most immersive scary mazes I've ever seen. and not only did they pay tribute to Dueling Dragons but they also payed tribute to the Merlynwood section of the Lost Continent, including the oakwood tavern that used to be located in the area of the park that was unfortunately tooken out way too soon nothing more important and they brought back Merlin the wizard the original main character to the Lost Continent. I hope we see more tributes like this in the future
They NEEEED to do a Harry Potter house ! Venture through the forbidden forest , chamber of secrets , the grave yard , maze from the 4th movie , nocturne alley. Encounter , dementors , death eaters , spiders , and obviously voldemort
Yes but mostly no. Since the actual ride itself was basically unthemed, this house is based on the original queue's theming, most of which was torn out for HP.
I liked this one especial! It is nice to see a Halloween "house" that actually has a theme instead of just depending on blood and gore. I liked the theming. However, I thought the dragons could have been a lot better. The dragons were just heads, too small, and placed too high on the wall, a lot of people would walk by and not even notice them. They should have been a lot more prominent and noticeable.

They spend a lot in effects and theming, but in Spain we have an event called "Horrorland" where the actors CAN touch you and separate from your group, it is awesome! Not possible in USA because they use some religious theming and some haunted houses have explicit scenes..they don't have the universal's budget but the experience is a lot better, funnier and intense than just walking into amazing decors.
lol last year a video went viral where a scare actor got tackle and broke an arm by a random dude , here in the usa we don’t need none of that touching because some of us have issues
@@Dot_dot_dot891You are right that there is always a scene of the exorcist in haunted houses but I am referring to things that are a little more extreme within fiction and always quite sexual. In some passages, if you decide to have a cross marked on your forehead, the actors take you out of your group and lock you in a freezer with skeletons, they put your hands in a lit fryer (fake of course) or you end up covered in blood and cobwebs... last year the xxxtreme house was a zombie spa where they sodomized clients... (you must sign a consent before entering and passing without clothes) XD.

@@Dot_dot_dot891 cool. Wish I had a chance to ride it. It was probably shut down while I was there
@@redrasegardendid u ever do the potter rollercoaster? That was the same ride.
@@bubbytumby8509 the griffin one or the motorcycle one? The motorcycle one came up after I went
Just imagine if someday we get a Poseidon’s Fury haunted house!
Maybe the original version when Poseidon used to be a villain in his merman form

THIS IS A TRIBUTE TO THE DUELING DRAGONS RIDE!
1:08 I love how the fire guy noticed you didn’t see his jumpscare so he improvised 😭
Great concept and execution. It will be interesting to see if they expand this concept in the future. Would love one for the defunct kong ride
Wish Jaws and Poseidon's Fury gets one too as well
@@ABigBowlOfChips Poseidon fury would be awesome as a HHN house
I always knew that high fantasy would make a good haunted house

Great callback to the old ride. Unfortunatly only been on the hp version, which is the same, but still. Not really lol

I've always thought it'd be cool to have a high fantasy themed haunted house.
Love the maze very nice and beautiful
The lost continent lives on !

Imagine a potential Harry Potter or Mortal Kombat house!
Such an amazing haunted house
Less like a haunted maze more like a choose a fantasy maze
This looks Soooooo Amazing 👍👍

DUELING DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you can choose where you wanna go?
Are the dragons animatronics?
So how long until we get a poseidons fury house?
Will this also be available in Universal Studios in Hollywood?
No 😮
Obviously not lmaooo
For the name dueling dragons I expected more than 2 dragons
It’s fire and ice
What the hell are White Walkers doing here?!
100% not scary BUT it looked awesome

Many many haunts in the US have religious and explicit theming as well as touch you! Some are VERY hands on
