Great stuff again, that fish take at 21:31 tells us a lot from the fish behavior and other potential fly rigs approach. Thank you for sharing, tons of info to only be watched once🙂
Nice to have a look at how you guys do it, thank you Robert. So far the fishing salt has evaded me. I was wondering if in fact those were ocean run Brown Trout. I am familiar with them, as they come in from the ocean through Manasquan bay and then into the Manasquan River. Some very big fish. OK stay tight.
Great video once again Robert. 6 fish and BIG fish, well done! May i ask in your opinion what is the best state of the tide do you find most productive. Coming in, out, what please?? Keep up the great videos. Cheers, Ewan.
I haven't fished many times in true tidal water. We have almost no tide around Gotland where I live. That means fishing can be good any time in the day.
@@FlyFishingbyRobert 😅 so it's like the same feeling I have with the drone behind me over the lake and all ways scared like he'll the wind is pushing it in the water 😂🍃
Really nice vid. Cant wait to start the 2021 season! How do you attach your Opro rod holder? My backpack does not have any straps. I would guess that you are just using the clips. Any suggestions for a totally flat backpack?
Thanks. A normal home thermometer with a cable to put outside the window is pretty handy to use. Just throw the cable in the water and look at the display after 1 minute. If you want to have very accurate results and something that ain't so expensive.
Brown trout (in the video) can be quite similar to Rainbow trout sometimes and we catch them now and then. A good way to see that it is a rainbow is that they have a tail fin covered by spots.
The hookbend is not the biggest issue when there is stuff drifting around so protecting that doesn't really help me 😒😇 it is collected on the line and sliding down in front of the flies.
So many cool shots of the fish, waves and sun. Great video! Always gets fishing fever watching your videos :D
Thank you!

You are right. In America they are called sea run brown trout. Scientific name is salmo trutta.
awesome- if that kind of fishing was available in the US, it would be shoulder-to-shoulder combat fishing.
It is not very easy. Most days are a challenge to win the zero game.

Wow so great. With awesome capture. 😍🤩👍 With the camera in the back is so cool. How stable is this to wind and waves
Thanks. Somewhat stable 😅 I'm scared most of the time if it ain't calm like this.

You can also use any gopro mount. For example the ”Adhesive Mounts”
Great video :)...nice to see the joy. What kind of thermometer would you recommend?

Hvor er det du fisker ? Sverige , danmark, norge ??
Sverige, Gotland
@@FlyFishingbyRobert du har fantastiske videoer. Just love 💙
We call these Steelhead
Steelhead is Oncorhynchus mykiss right? This is Salmo trutta, regular trout that lives in the ocean.
Thanks for explaining!
😎👍
👊😎
maybe you can tie some flies with weedguard for these conditions? :D
