I will try and find books about topics I want them to take an interest in and « hide » them on our bookshelf. So when they later find them on their own, they are motivated about their discovery. Works every time at our house.
That drum set was given to us used several years ago. I have no idea what kind it is...it's nothing special, but surprisingly our kids have learned a lot by playing on it.

Struggling with a lot of this because I have one child. I feel like I need to do a lot of the entertaining 🤔
I agree that with one you have to do a lot of the entertaining. Do you have family or friends that you can have over regularly?
