own style, great stuff, good club trance drinking stuff , black grease, call you on the telephone, makes you want to listen to 3 or 7 more. good luck to them~! la psychedelic rockland
Been listening to these guys since 2010. Science Killer, Sniper, Holland, Currency. They have so many slots in my playlist. Up there in favorite of all time.
He does favor Jim Morrison, but I think I think the reason people keep comparing his voice to Jim's is because of his vocal 'delivery' (the way he carries his words and stretches out certain notes, having an "intoxicating" sound that you can feel in your soul). Alex has his own unique voice, Jim had his own unique voice as well. Both amazing singers, maybe that makes sense.
This is a stupid question, but does anyone know what type of cap the lead singer is wearing??? I have scoured the internet & my best guess is a newsboy hat but I’m not for sure, it looks really cool in pictures I’ve seen where he pairs it with sunglasses.
i went to the see them open for black mountain in montreal a month ago was talking to a few of the members, the guitarist and drummer really nice people.
The reason why he turns away from the crowd is because he has to turn on the "reverse" effect on his tape echo on the amp. AND he has to pick up his glass slide. But it doesn't matter. It's about the music and it's incredibly awesome.
@GlazebrookC yep that was so sick. hands down one of the best performances i've seen. i could care less about their lack of movement. if it means better sounds than i want better sounds
panjok2 Charles Manson's music is quite a bit more like Bing Crosby than this is, actually. I don't care for it. And I would still dislike it even if he were less of a Monster.
@oasisforever00 The singer just has the same vocal range as Jim Morrison. After I listen to these guys I end up with Doors songs stuck in my head. The singing, though, is as far as the comparison needs to go. Every member of the Doors, except Jim Morrison, was a virtuoso on their instrument. These guys keep it simple. The music is more primal.
ima guess it's a whaa pedal combo slow gear and delay in reverse with some distortion over drive ♥. I feel the drums really drive this surreal death march.
@sungtongs Dammit! Okay, so I'm clearly not very observant. Thanks for stating the obvious which apparently evaded me. I've been a fan of theirs for all of a week :(
Alex wins the award for best vocal howl ever
This is a highly underrated band.
The Greatest band ever.
own style, great stuff, good club trance drinking stuff , black grease, call you on the telephone, makes you want to listen to 3 or 7 more. good luck to them~! la psychedelic rockland

A best performer psychedelic music band
These guys got me into the psychedelic rock genre.
This is just pure DOPE. So unique. How can you not feel this?
I LOOOVE the tone and technique of the bass in this song. This is why Fender Jazz bass is so badass. I also enjoy the delay/reverb/wah on the guitar.

The reason why he turns away from the crowd is because he has to turn on the "reverse" effect on his tape echo on the amp. AND he has to pick up his glass slide. But it doesn't matter. It's about the music and it's incredibly awesome.

Am I mistaken or is the guy with the Rickenbacher...Left handed? I am a southpaw, so it gives me hope for one day playing a left handed guitar also.
Wow buena rola
what effects does the guitarist use in this one?
ima guess it's a whaa pedal combo slow gear and delay in reverse with some distortion over drive ♥. I feel the drums really drive this surreal death march.
@sungtongs Dammit! Okay, so I'm clearly not very observant. Thanks for stating the obvious which apparently evaded me. I've been a fan of theirs for all of a week :(
