Best book by Kresley Cole is Lothaire! Great heroine. Wish it was a series. If she is going to be the beloved queen of the vampires I want to see her aventures
I started A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor and oh. My. Goodness. I’ve read half of it in 4 hours and I LOVE it. The characters and the storyline and the smut - so 🔥🔥. Thank you for the recommendation!!
I think the first time I read the Psy-Changeling series, I was more invested in the Changelings, but reading it again I have a much greater appreciation for the dynamics between the Psy couples. (But I think I'm so used to urban-fantasy books that I adore paranormal romance that includes the greater world plus the couple. 😊) And, I am hanging out for the next Stay a Spell book! I can't wait! I also have Black Sunshine on my TBR.
9:30 *i read this book after watching this video and i just want to THANK U for recommending it to us...i swear i read all thw 3 books so fast and i reread the second one twice ...i CAN'T WAIT for the other books in the serie to come out ( especially my sweet Clara)* *Again thank u so much honey..i love ur recs* 🌹🌹🌻🥰
A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor sounds really intriguing. Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series with angels and vampires is good too. Although there is a central couple and not every book focuses on a new couple entirely.
After hearing what you said in this video I can tell you --> you have to read the Kate Daniels series!! Kate is the most badass and sassy heroine ! The world is really original, there's a lot of mythology from everywhere and the way some of the creatures are portrayed is really different I think you'll love it! The main villains are great (particularly if you like when they have a connection with the protagonist that makes it all a bit more conflictive...). The romance is a very slow burn but it's all the more worth it ! The side characters are so good to ! Please please read it ! It's really underated (I think because a lot of people don't get over the first book, it's a bit hard to get your bearings in the beggining but it's still good and it gets so much better ! Book 2 is already twice better and don't get me started on book 3.... ). Here's a extract which illustrates the relationship with Curran and Kate pretty well if you want to have a taste of it to decide if you want to read it (it's from book 3 but it doesn't spoil anything really, except what their relationship is like ) : "“His Majesty needs a can-I girl anyway. And I'm not it." "A can-I girl?" Andrea frowned. I leaned back. "'Can I fetch your food, Your Majesty? Can I tell you how strong and mighty you are, Your Majesty? Can I pick your fleas, Your Majesty? Can I kiss your ass, Your Majesty? Can I..." It dawned on me that Raphael was sitting very still. Frozen, like a statue, his gaze fixed on the point above my head. "He's standing behind me, isn't he?" Andrea nodded slowly. "Technically it should be 'may I'," Curran said, his voice deeper than I remembered. "Since you're asking for permission." He stepped into view, reached for a chair at a table next to us, and found it bolted to the floor. He gripped the chair and plucked it from the concrete with one hand, leaving four screws sticking out of the floor. He put the chair next to me, back first, and saddled it like a horse, crossing his arms on the top of the back to show off carved biceps. Why me? "To answer your question, yes, you may kiss my ass. Normally I prefer maintain my personal space, but you're a Friend of the Pack and your services have proven useful once or twice. I strive to accommodate the wishes of persons friendly to my people. My only question is, would kissing my ass be obeisance, grooming, or foreplay?”" As Kate sums it up best : “I think you’re confused as to the nature of our relationship. You and I, we don’t get along. You’re a psychopathic control freak. You order me around and I want to kill you. I’m a pigheaded insubordinate ass. I drive you mad and you want to strangle me.”
Just downloaded the last book you mentioned. Sounds weird and right up my alley 👍🏾 I highly recommend This Dark Wolf by Everly Frost. I binged the first two books and was blown away. Desperately waiting for book 3.
Laurell K Hamilton.. Anita Blake and Merry Gentry Series are good .. Christine Freehan and her Dark series is really good Maggie Shayne is really good also.
Can you do a MM paranormal recs? I'm so in love with your recommendations😭 Also if anyone wants a unique paranormal plot, I HIGHLY suggest Four Psychos by Kristy Cunning! It's so different, our 4 heroes are such brutal yet protective villains, the heroine is such a hilarious badass and most of all, the humor is TOPNOTCH!
Have you read or heard of the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter by Laurell K. Hamilton? To me, it is a really great series that hits all the bells and whistles...plus smut galore... vampire, werewolves, and human oh my!
Hi jenn I am definitely going to pick up a lady of rooksgrave manor it sounds so good it will be something new for me I have never read about monsters be for
These are the monsters Katee Robert has been gushing about?!! Need to read it. Her reels are so good! I'm currently making my way through Immortals after dark series, because I love Kresley Coles writing style. I need to finish BDB too. I remember I first heard about it way back in 2011-12. I have a list of all PNRs that I need to finish. I'm also in the middle of reading midnight with the devil. It's so good!!
Have you tried Shelly Laurenston? She has a shifter series and a Norse mythology series (the Crows). She also writes Dragon fantasy romance under G. A. Aiken. All her females are strong, kick ass, take no crap characters.
O my one of my favorite genre paranormal historical to all and contemporary. Vampires 🧛♂️ and time travel. I recommend Amanda Ashley is great her vampires are tormented souls. Some kill to surviva bot no enjoy the killing. The majority does not not kill their pray and they fall 😻 with mortal and sometime they protect the humans. You will like her books. Give a try you will not disappoint.😁
Just finished Playing with Monsters by Amelia Hutchins I liked it very curious how everything will play out but it is part of the Fae Universe that starts with the Fae Chronicles and The Elite Guard then Playing with Monsters and I don't know if there is another series involved but I haven't gotten that far into the Fae Universe yet but I really like Amelia Hutchins writing for the most part she always creates these worlds with kick-ass women with that don't take a lot of crap off anyone she always puts in trigger warnings because shit can get dark quick
She has started writing it and sharing it on her blog, so whenever she finishes I should think. I read the first chapter a few days ago and I am so excited.
I so get, what you say about the Psy/Changeling serios. I am more current than you but I feel a bit of burn out too. I just want to know, how the story arc ends.
You had me absolutely sold at "a brothel where you fuck monsters". Yesss definitely checking this out because we need more full length and well-written monster romances.
Okay that last book sounds FLIPPING GOOD!!!
It was flipping GOOD! I ordered a physical copy already so I could show it off. It was brilliant.
