Thanks Chris. My watch had been on Smart setting rather than once per second. Have also added Galileo Hoping the accuracy improves as pace and distance currently out by about 6%!
Thankyou. Often i swim in a lake where shore topography is hilly and my Instinct 2 doesn't track well. Next time I'll try with GPS + Galileo as opposed to the GPS + Glonass. 46.31 degrees North
I tried all setting regarding the gps on my F6. When running, it has terrible accuracy. When walking and biking it is spot on. I don’t get it. My third fenix watch and my third dissapoinment.
I don't understand why there is no GPS+Glonass+Galileo option. Hopefully they will release a watch with all those and the chinese Beidou being capable of being active at the same time.
@A A yes, I've found that one since making that post. It may be the next watch I get. Since I'm not really in a hurry I'll wait and see if I can get more info on the new watches Garmin are about to give info about in the beginning of january though.
One more thing. When cycling or walking, the F6 is spot on like 99% of the route. When running totally of track. Why is that? Can anyone explain. Same settings for all activities.

Do you know how to set every second recording on the Garmin 45?
Thank you

Which setting will be more accurate in indai (Asia)
1. Gps only
2. Gps+ glonass
3. Gps+ galileo
glonass mountain area, galileo urban
I tested it, Gps and Galileo seem better
Honestly just test them on the same route. For me even though I live in a city in the UK, GPS+Glonass was better.
of course they changed the menu.. thanks for the video though.
Thanks for the post!
Thnx
