What about a Tri-Brigade Deck. I don't think I've seen you do one of those.
As sixsams player I'm really upset cuz Konami keeps ignoring this arctype and it's need for a new support to match up with the new modern day metas . I mean come on .. over 10 years and we still have the same 1 synchro monster!
Gateway should be at 3!!!!
... aren't these guys on their THIRD sub-archetype? They've gotten more support than any other deck but heroes. xD
@@JuniperVT I do agree. But if you look at the extra deck section. You can notice only 4 monsters! Which is obviously ( lack of support) compared with other arctypes .
They have one of the most broken cards in the whole game, and they are the 6th or 5th biggest archetypes " regarding card number", so I think they are well supported, but still needs a kick i agree

My room mate's favorite deck is Six Samurai. Not for any specific combo reason, but rather he simply loves the theme of the deck itself. He rebuilt the deck as we slowly get back into the game now and we quickly realized that Six Samurai have a really frustrating problem- they are either too good or too bad.
As long as you have the water and fire samruai, you consistently go infinite counters with Gateway. So if he went first, he would just loop Gateway counters until he ended on a board of 5+ negates. Short of a kaiju or Nibiru, you aren't breaking that board. If he failed to get Gateway on turn 1 however, the deck suddenly reverts back to 2011. So even casual games between us were boring.
But as for this profile, noice.
The deck is unplayable without Gateway being at 3.
@@Ayumu88 shogun definitely helped with this problem but if you don’t get a solid opening hand it’s basically gg regardless

@@BenDover-mx1wq I'm guessing Apollousa for monster negates and Shi En. If you're running a build with Shien's Squire, you can also use Naturia Barkion/Beast for S/T negates. If you're a bully, you can run Rhongomyniad with Gossip Shadow to stop your opponent from Normal/Special Summoning monsters.
mizuho and shinai loop is more effective, its a soft once per turn, mizuho tributes shinai and pops herself then counters drag them both back to hand, summon mizuho and then summon shinai (to areas shogun points to)

This is very interesting
You don't need Cannon soldier, since you can run Shien's squire instead which can be searched off your continuous + Isolde/Halq + revived off Gateway so is less of a garnet for the deck. You can then just keep reviving it for synchro plays. So you can make Trish to banish one from hand, kill it with Mizuho. Then make Omega, kill it with Mizuho. Shuffle both back, repeat. Make Gagaga cowboy, burn for 800. Have Omega keep cycling it back then to just win off that. It also has the net result that you know what deck you're up against since you see their hand, so you can side if needed.
Kizaru is problematic since its Earth, so are your two free special summons. Literally any other attribute other than light and it'd work perfectly. You can generally cut down your equip ratio as well for that reason to like maybe M.M.S. and the two revival cards. The bamboo engine is always fun, but has the problem that it is really bricky. You draw loads with the deck anyways, since you can spam Emeral + Saryuja to kinda just pop off. You have Fuuma as well, who is a level one and also a tuner so helps with the deck. It means that when you hit infinite counters, you can summon it off Gateway > Saryuja to make Needlefiber to search Shien's Squire, proceed to loop Trish/Omega>Cowboy/Omega.
I'd honestly say to add another copy of Saryuja as well. You generally can go through all three copies depending on hand to put together the FTK if need be. While also more counter cards (Especially more field spell copies, maybe United if you drastically want extra since it is capped at two counters, so handicapped due to that) can really, really help honestly. Other warrior extenders can be really nice as well, like Photon Thrasher/Junk Forward, War Rock Gactos/Blue Mountain Butterspy, Instant/Ready Fusion. Any Warrior, a Six Sam with a counter holder plus an extra pretty much makes it a cakewalk to get to the FTK. If not you can usually just go Battle Shogun, summon the Xyz, Kizan, Grandmaster and potentially a second battle shogun depending on counter economy at the time (If not, use the original. But ideally keep that in extra monster zone) to make Saryuja to reset your hand to find further extenders.
Even that is bad. You dont even need squire for loops:

Summon saryuja
Summon Fuma with sary
Mizuho pop saryuja
Summon daigusto emeral, shuffle sary, dweller and ouroboros

Shuffle omega and emeral into deck
Loop
Ftk is the same but with cowboy
Saryuja at one is perfectly fine... You dont need more and it would take away more extradeck space. You can loop sary anyways and you can go into infinite counter loop with just one in your deck... Why would you need a second one?
Also you dont need soo many counterholders as you suggest. I dont see why all people want counterholders when the combo with a counterholder looses to one handtrap... If you just have three extenders you can go like this:
Summon battleshogun
Add Gate
Summon third extender
Summon isolde
Summon hatsume from deck
Gate add kizan
Summon Kizan
Summon Battleshogun with Kizan and Isolde
Effect hatsume (now youre one 9 counters)
Add two Kizan summon them
Summon Dugares
Dugares summon from gy
Add grandmaster summon Grandmaster
Summon (the one of) saryuja
Add mizuho and shinai (2 shinai)
Saryuja summon mizuho
One of the few decks I hate with a passion. Lol.. this stuff is why we will never get that spell to 2-3

You legitimately just loop gagaga cowboy. Even if you removed burn entirely, you'd devolve into stuff like handlooping with Trish.

Just a thought, was wondering of maybe toon cannon soldier instead of the normal one as you could then add toon table of contents which could make it quite searchable.
The mathmech searches it, so you really don't have to worry about toons. You could play them to thin the deck though.
Hope I’m not a bother but I’m playing master duel and I’m brand new to yu gi oh I’m general in master duel the cannon soldier doesn’t exist is it replaceable?

I'm surprised no Six Samurai United. And here's an important question: If Gateway of the Six was at 3, what would you remove in order to make room?

I wish I could say I’m surprised these guys have an OTK build, but I’m not. I remember how strong these guys have always been, even before the newer support.
I thank my lucky stars that I never had to deal with the Twin-Shien-Lock (not in this build). I hope I never have to face this. Losing in one turn is part of the reason why I quit years ago. Well, that and having so many arrogant brats as opponents.
The fact that you promote a lot of different fun decks gives me hope. You at least know this game is about having fun, unlike the aforementioned brats.
Twin-Shien is not a true lock, just restricting. A ruling was implemented where your opponent may use another backrow if their S/T is negated while Shogun is face-up. Your opponent never fulfills the Shogun condition until you allow a Spell or Trap to pass.
