I have an Olds Ambassador Straight Tenor Trombone that is the Trombone I learned on. I bought a Conn 83H Bass Trombone last June that has an Elkhart Indiana Bell Swap.
Many thanks for an entertaining and informative video. I just emailed Scott Sweeney and Josh Landress to inquire about buying a King 1130. I played trumpet, cornet, and flugelhorn for many years. Flugelhorn was always my favorite horn. A couple of years ago for chops reasons I switched to valve trombone. The flugabone sounds like the perfect horn for me. Thanks again, Chanell.
I have been fooling around with a Blessing that used to be AL Grey's bought it from Claud Black 15 or twenty years ago, the middle and high register is ok but the lower register is stuffy and not as open as a trombone, thanks for the info...
I don't know why everyone seems surprised by these! Drum and Bugle Corps have been using these for decades (as in DCI International). They are not new.
HEY WHUD UP CHANELL ( TUBA FRESH ) ! DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT THE FLUGABONE IS ALSO KNOWN AS THE AS THE TENOR FLUEGELHORN AND THE TENOR SAX HORN THANKS TO ITS INVENTOR ALDOLPH SAX ! I HAVE A KING 1130 AND I LOVE IT !

Chanell Crichlow
You can get a Splash of that Juan Tizol Vibe w/ the Flugabone because it's basically a Valve Trombone wrapped up like a Flugelhorn.
Flugabone is a Marching Valve Trombone so it does have that Duke Ellington Vibe that Juan Tizol was known for on his Valve Trombone.

Great interview. Ray is the dude! Also want to know more about your alto cornet (?), Chanell? Who's the maker? I've never seen one...
Great Interview! I have no idea why I haven't met Ray, here in Nashville. Just sent him a friend request.
Great video subscribed! Thank you!

Yes and they dont Sound só good like a slide or valve trombone
Isn’t it a marching trombone
Is it hard to keep in tune like a bass trumpet is...?
The Olds fluga intones fairly well

Why are you yelling
@@TheSteelDialga I'M SORRY I AM NOT YELLING , I JUST LIKE THE WAY THE FONT LOOKS !
There are one reason to love this: the size. All flugabone dont sound so good them a real slide or valve trombone.
