Would it be possible to replace an existing Proline Fusion in a King Air with such a G1000 flight deck without much effort and cost?
Serious question...does pilot incapacitation occur so often that auto land is required??? Caveat, as an engineer myself I love this but is it necessary? Yes, I know the argument "if it saves one life it is worth it" but by the same argument all cars should be outfitted with auto-drive.
There has been a horrible hypoxia accident some years ago, killing a whole familiy over Europe. Often? I don't know. Useful? I think so.
