The part you are trying to magnetize is made from chelated iron, which will not hold magnetism. It will attract to a magnet, but the magnetism will not stay in it. The one shown has a magnet imbedded in it somewhere...it did not get magnetized except in one little spot. The steel shaft can be magnetized, but not the other part. If a screw was in it, it would become a magnet...I thought maybe that was what he was going to do...obviously made by a person who was ignorant of how to make an electromagnet...obviously a part that big would need sixty turns of wire, smaller gauge, to be magnetized...the video could have been funnier, only if he would have used four turns of #4 gauge copper wire to magnetize the rotor part.
Hello Friend! it's not a lie, I tried it and it works. the point is that you have to make sure that the pole of the battery shines well and that you strike the wire quickly. the wire must be heated and that's how you get a magnetic saw.

During rotation in between the copper coils their is more magnetism.but, they don't convert magnet on only 12 v they with copper wire some rotations magnetic charging are possible ! No not imposible but posible with another process

Bro you use only 12v and 6v power but it need morethan 24v. You can make magnetism on armature at another way. With welding machine and 24v battery first put the armature on the welding machine and pass the electricity into the welding machine you can try that?😊😊
It is very impossible to magnetize a fan motor. Not even a 4mm wire will do that. Unless if you drill a hole to put neodymium magnet, that will be the only part that i will believe since neodymium magnet is powerful

I also tried same thing, even with a cap discharge magnetizer. Nothing. Stator iron cannot be magnetized.

The method in the video wont work but....There is a working method: to get some temporary magnetism just use your permanent magnet to stroke the rotor in one direction after a number of strokes your rotor will have some temporary magnetism that is strong enough to hold the screws this is what they do to make magnetic screwdrivers the magnetism will disapear so you need tro do it regilary.. another methode is drilling some holes in a rotor and put neodymium magnets in the holes use some glue to keep the neodymium magnets in place.

This is funny that he did not put some magnets in there ; because if he had, it would have had some output...From the diameter of the rotating part, it would have to turn very fast to have much output...not very useful...cute looking, but not 3000 watts...the problem with it rotating very fast is, it has brass bushings on the shaft. This whole design is impractical...the wire is too small for any amperage...it has been been badly engineered. It is a desk toy...if some N 42 magnets were put in it, it would produce a sine wave and some power, a few watts...If it were rewound with a larger wire, and roller bearings installed, it might be usable for a small wind charger. But not like it is...it is just a fake mess.
