There used to be a company here in my city in Kingston Upon Hull in the 1970s called Weeks Trailers who did trailers from large farm tractor ones to one's to go behind your car which was similar to this one but you could unclip the small axle with the wheel and you could put it in an estate car or back of an pick up truck. You could get it down a small passage way between houses if you did'nt have a drive the store it in a shed. My brother in law had one when started as a builder. It was very useful
This is very good. Very good indeed and I'm pleased to see that it has a braked version also. Here in Japan, the following conditions need to be met as a trailer is registered as a vehicle in its own right. The braked version clears all of these conditions: ✅ Lighting must include rear lights, brake, direction indicators, reversing lights and front marker lights. (As in Europe, although some trailers still don't add a reversing light). ✅ Must have a parking brake system. The inertia brake is also of a great help as Japan is mostly mountainous with steep slopes, so having this also is beneficial. ✅ Number plate is non-removal and must be affixed to a part of the trailer that can't be easily removed. ✅ To drive with just a normal car licence (i.e. no towing licence), gross weight must be under 750kg. ✅ To register a vehicle in Japan, proof of a suitable parking space within 2km of the registration address must also be provided. Good news is that the size of folding trailers is accepted. Therefore, as space here is often very limited, those with just enough space to store the trailer in its folded state counts for registration!! Suggestion: The lack of cross beams under the floor of the rear-half of the trailer is somewhat of a concern. I would prefer to see the 'V' frame part of the tow tongue being replicated in the rear also. I understand that this would lower the overall laden weight capacity and make the footprint of the folded trailer larger and even possibly unbalance it in its folded state. Not to mention adding an extra step. The latter if a problem, could easily be countered by having a castor that could be attached only when folded. Despite the demerits I myself note, I would still prefer to see this added or at least a version which had this. Absolutely fantastic idea. Best folding trailer that I have seen.
WOW...!!! EN MEXICO, EN DONDE PUEDO CONSEGUIR ESTE REMOLQUE..?? O COMO LO PUEDO CONSEGUIR..?? ME INTERESA. UNA DISCULPA, NO HABLO INGLES., AGRADECERE SU INFORMACION., BUEN DIA..!! SI ESTA INFORMACION ME PUDIERA DECIR LAS MEDIDAS, DE EL REMOLQUE, POR FAVOR.
Great, but is this type of trailer TÜV approved? I bought a new 750kg trailer 1 week ago 1800€ If I had seen a trailer like this before, I would definitely buy it
