    How much does it cost to upgrade that on the kings

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Normal rebuild is approximately $800, the SDI universal kit runs $2499 retail. We're giving 50% discount on normal rebuild if you do the SDI kit, so approximately $2900 for a fresh rebuilt set of shocks + electronic adjustability and all the goodies that come with the in-cab control module.
      If someone needs the shocks uninstalled/rebuilt/sdi fitted/reinstalled, then that comes with its own labor charge on top, which is usually around 4-5hrs.

      No problem at all. ARB is located in Washington and can help you get the rebuild services going.

    I’m super bullish on this tech and company. I want these for my GX460. Take my money! Haha

      So far they have been really great. We have them on a 3rd gen Tacoma and it's really impressive. We also helped a customer throw on a universal on the Kings and he's told it's been amazing on how much further they can get a King to feel in various conditions.

      @@ShockSurplus wild idea…could you E-Clik a set of 8112/8100’s?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So technically you can but we think it wouldn't work well with the internal of the 8112 and 8100. We think the jounce bump stop would be the factor. It honestly works best on the Kings then the Icon the Fox. They also make directly fitment sets at least for the 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma and 5th gen 4Runner.

      @@ShockSurplus that makes sense. In other news: I emailed SDI about a fitment for the GX460. Seems like only a few things would need to be sorted. OBD interface and control unit mounting in cabin. Otherwise same vehicle as the 5th Gen 4Runner. Fingers crossed. I think the SDi E-Clik would be the ultimate overland setup.

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah they share the exact fitment as the 5th gen 4runner but the control unit would most likely be different or has to be retuned accordingly. If they do get back to you, let us know and we'll work it out as well. SDI Eclick is truly one of those setups that you just set up and forget because you can control the adjustment from the cabin of your vehicle.
