What you eat is on the skewers. It's called Miang Kham, a traditional dessert. It is a mixture of various herbs that you see wrapped together using betel leaves, not banana leaves.😊

In fact, it's not betel leave but it's other kind of vegetable. No one take it cause its harsh taste to go with "Miang Kham". The "Wild Betal" is used due to no standard English to call this vegetable. Like other misunderstanding for bug snack, the westerner called "Cockroach" but it's "Giant Water Bug". Thai don't eat "Cockroach" by any means. 😅

Don't each too much due to Wild Betel have very high Calcium Oxalate that cause Kidney Stone symptom in the long run. Drinking more water after having them. Cheers.

Thai don't eat centipede. It's China snack. I recommend you should try ancient Thai snack "Miang Kham" (around THB 10/skewer). You'll find the party in your mouth, trust me.😎😎

@@OTWD_yt Nah, you're not but I wanna let you know what's Thai food or what isn't. Fried or grilled Tarantula, snake & scorpion ain't Thai snack. The "Cockroach" look at insect food stall is "Giant Water Bug". Definitely, we don't eat cockroach. FYI.
