Please make a video for the Disabled going to Disney! What to expect, the pros & cons, the must dos & not to dos. For renters of mobility devices on property & off.
Just know those mobility devices you pay at one park and you get them at all four if you park up for that day. There is not a lot so get there early they run out fast. People with disabilities can get a special pass so they do not have to try to stand in line. There are requirements so you have to check to see if you qualify. FYI if the park is busy be prepared for people not to respect your mobility devices I literally had a 20 something-year-old guy literally step over me with no regard to my safety. People just check their manners at the gate when they go in to Disney World
Yes please make a video for disabled I’m disabled and my mom and I are planning on going for the Mickey not so scary in September in 2024 and it would be nice to have a guideline I would appreciate it Merry Christmas and 🎄🎅Happy holidays ☃️❄️
@@mariec.9023 hey Marie if she doesn’t have one you can call Disney they have one. But remember one thing depending on your disability you can go to the fire house Townhall and get a pass tell them your disability and you won’t have to stand in lines and you can take your mom with you. They make it a point not to make a disabled person have to go alone on a ride. They also have quiet rooms throughout the park if you need a break. They have wheelchair and Mobile scooters for rent last I was there it was $50 for the day plus the deposit which the deposit you get back when you rent that one park that same rental is good at other parks they just have to have them available get there early they go quick.
Oh my goodness, yes!! My friend has mobility issues and feels like she can’t do much in a wheelchair but a video to display the her options would be amazing
Just did our first Disney trip a couple of weeks ago and I can't thank DFBGuide enough for giving me all the information I needed! Couldn't have done it without you guys! We stayed at CBR and thought it was a perfect balance of price and opportunity. Room was fine, service was great, the Skyliner access was such a boon I can't imagine being at Disney again without being close to it. Thanks for everything!
I would add to actually NOT pay for a water view at Grand Destino tower. You often get one anyways or a view that is spectacular nonetheless. And good luck getting a good deal at The Swan anymore. Their rates can run up to $700 a night just like the Yacht club, and I'm not talking on Christmas Eve...
When we went in August this year we looked at The Swan & Dolphin, but it was $450 or more, while Coronado was at least $100 or more cheaper. We didn't stay in the Grand Destino tower, but it was still nice.
The Swan and Dolphin Hotel is the best! It's much cheaper than most of the other official disney hotels and comes with the same perks, even extra magic hours at night. I stayed at the dolphin and it was one of my best disney hotel experiences.
I agree! Plus you can walk to the boardwalk loop resorts and parks…. That’s a lot of stuff to explore within walking distance, much less the easy use of the skyliner from there.
@@cheleu5502 I’m sorry, I didn’t see this until right now. The skyliner is right by the back entrance of EPCOT and within walking distance of the dolphin and the skyliner takes you to Hollywood Studios or you could ride to different resorts like the Riviera or Caribbean Beach Resort and check them out too.
Our extended family of 9 stayed in 3 Gran Destino Tower rooms in summer of 2022. The place is beautiful, with larger rooms, many good places to eat, wonderful amenities, and incredible theming (without being over the top Disney-fied). We all agreed that we would like to stay there next time. The resort is close to AK, HS, & EP, but is a longer bus ride to MK & DS. Although we didn't take advantage of it, there is a walkway to Blizzard Beach.
Swan and Dolphin used to be a much better value. Prices have increased over the past year or so. Plus, don’t forget they charge a $35 per day mandatory resort fee. If you were staying for a week in the middle of January you would save $140 by staying at the Dolphin vs staying at Wilderness Lodge, and $150 vs staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Savings yes, but not as great of value as it used to be.
Just spent 3 nights/4 days at The Animal Kingdom Lodge!! Left our car in the parking lot the entire stay and utilized Disney buses to visit all 4 theme parks and Disney Springs. The experience was seamless!! Never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus and no trip was more than 18 minutes!! We had a partial Savanna View room and saw lots of animals!! Ate twice at Boma for breakfast which was delicious!! The Holiday decor was stunning, cast members wonderful and overall our "Staycation" (we live in the Tampa area) was fantastic!! Cannot recommend AKL enough!!
Grand Destino was great when we stayed last year. The view was awesome, the rooms were so clean and modern. We were gonna stay again, but we decided that we are gonna try Caribbean Beach this time.
Do you know if the good neighbor hotels get any perks for virtual queues? Or can you do an updated video comparing staying at a good neighbor hotel vs Disney hotels
I'm so confused. There was about a 5 minute discussion comparing hotels then the rest of the videos were about updates. How is this about the best hotels?
I usually determine it by the price which does vary depending on what rooms are left. For example the Floridian’s cheapest rooms are more expensive then say the Yacht Club’s cheapest rooms but if the cheapest rooms at the yacht club are sold out and the Floridian has some available, the Floridian could be cheaper depending on what the yacht club has left.
The largest rooms on property and often the cheapest deluxe level resort. It’s a little far away from some stuff but the space you get for the money can’t be beat! We have 4 in our family and it was more than enough room. The washer and dryer in unit is also a LIFE SAVER!
I have a question: I want in March 2024 to Disneyworld for 14 nights. What is the best hotel for stay 14 nights? And with a good bar? I boubt between Coronado springs or Pop Centry Resort.
When you are older and have a few disabilities, your preferences/needs change. The most important thing is to be within easy walking distance of your favorite park.
@@Molinski44 we got really lucky with the lady that helped us lol we had a long trip during a busy season so we had to do movie resorts and rooms. We had to move from the normal part of the resort to a tower room for the last 2 nights of our trip and she was like "oh I have a really nice room I'm gonna put you in" and we were like OK cool and it ended up being a suite with views of epcot and Hollywood studios 😭
Hi, Do you think you can make a video about the Contemporary Resort, im planning to go to Disney World at March to not miss the 50th Anniversary (this is also the first time for me coming to America and disney WORLD) (ive been to the Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Shanghai)
Stayed at Coranado earlier this month and tried to upgrade to the tower but wasn't available, so got the Casitas. Still had. A great time and was actually glad to not get the tower. The whole trip, we noticed the Tower was last to be picked up by the bus.
I will visiting WDW on a solo holiday ..Which resort would be best suited in my situation? ..Contemporary my 1st choice is not available for my dates chosen ..I've stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and really enjoy the resort

Room # 6026 at the Wilderness Lodge is a full, unobstructed view of MK fireworks. It was such a treat to be placed in this room Nov of this year.
My name is Bob Costino and I love the Gran Destino tower because it sounds like Bob Costino Tower.
that’s awesome! good a reason as any. 😂

does the skyliner go to the grand casino

I want in March 2024 to Disneyworld for 14 nights.
What is the best hotel for stay 14 nights? And with a good bar?
I boubt between Coronado springs or Pop Centry Resort.
Coronado Springs, hands down. Pop Century looks so sterile and barren. Coronado Springs is relaxing and beautiful.
I got a question is grand Floridian Royal plam level good one
This video could really benefit from including chapters for easy navigation
How much balcony room in weekdays over300 bucks?
Which is the best moderate priced if you plan on going to all 4 parks?
I like pop century resort
I agree, I have stayed at every hotel At Disney besides dolphin and still love pop century
I love what you do
Happy chilly Monday, ya’ll! 🖤🥂🎩
