The Storyline lately has been disconnected a lot from season to season. Even though they’re not focusing on the Storyline of Chapter 5 anymore, there is actually a link to the plot. Hopefully it remains like this, then we can officially conclude that the Storyline is back.
the way I look at it is C1-C3 was one era of the storyline, C4 was a break and poorly wrapping up loose ends, C5 is the beginning of a new era but in the same universe. think Star Wars prequels and sequels

When Hope tells Jonesy to bring his “friend” I was so hoping it was going to be Sloane. During the OG season she talked about hopefully seeing him again, I thought this might have been here way back in.

Bro chapters 4 storyline was out of place… first picking up where chapter 3 left off to somehow a neon city… and a jungle that appeared out of nowhere… and then a vampire appears… I’m glad they brought back a story that actually makes sense
I mean it made no sense because they rushed past it, Kado was severely underused.

So, did Zeus summon Megalo Don? Or did he bring the sandstorm, which accidentally brought Don to the island? It seems like Don is here by mistake, has no respect for Zeus, and just wants to leave (after gutting the island for resources).

@@FillsFantasyFactory1 Also, in the season trailer, Don has captured Chaos Agent, which reads like he was interrogating him for information about the island. So then, Zeus REALLY had no hand in bringing him to the island; he would have shown up anyway.

The Wanderer could be something Fallout related. An example is the protagonist in Fallout 3 is called “The Lone Wonderer”. And with there being the T60 power armor in the battle pass, I wouldnt be too surprised if that is the case.
the wanderer is most likely part of the fallout collab because the fallout 3 protagonist is called the lone wanderer and the fallout 4 protagonist can be nicknamed wanderer by the railroad.

I think we have to bear in mind that we didn't have a creative director for Chapter 4 really, because the transition from Donald Mustard to Charlie Wen was taking place. So everything that happened in the story during chapter 4 has to be kind of cleaned up and connected while the narrative still moves forward in chapter five. That's a lot of work for Charlie Wen, but he's already trying really hard. We have gotten dedicated story quests, voice actors are back, and we even got a small tie in to Kado Thorne last season because he had Midas hand in his bunker, and Midas had a prosthetic in the Rise of Midas event. Things will take a second to get back to how they were, but I see that we are moving in a better direction already.

@@mr_inconspicuous Yeah I can agree that chapter 4 all the way up to chapter 5 season 1 was bad but ever since the myths and mortals season the story has been fire.
I think a good live event idea at the end of this season would be that Hope is getting kidnapped by Megla Don and is put into a cage over the saws/blades in the car arena while Jones and his crew are trying to save her
Talking about bunker: When u mentioned the God, who stayed behind to protect Mortals, it could potentially be Aphrodite, as she is the Goddess of Love, hence loves us, and went agains her father’s, Zeus ideas: agains Mortals, and supported us
Other gods have stayed behind, like Artemis and Cerberus and (potentially) Persephone
Magneto was actually teased the night before the season started. If you paid attention to the center of island, as in the whole horizon; you would’ve noticed a redish magnetic field starting to grow.
The pathing of the magnetic field went from the shoreline where the Styx met the Marigold all the way to the motel near Grand Glacier. Pretty interesting, not sure if anyone got a clip but I do remember wondering what it was teasing
I feel like theoretically, Hope and Valeria put their differences aside and work together sister by sister to go against Megalo with Jonsey’s help and around the time they ask for help is when the queen arrives so maybe they’ll either have a chance to get her as an ally or she’s one of Don’s partners. Then with Oscar, I believe that Valeria will probably find a way to convince him to tag alongside with the gang since he doesn’t really hold anything against it.

1. There is a house on the north part of the map that would look perfect for doctor stranger’s sanctum.
2. Due to magneto being in the battle pass, chances are maybe like avatar a mini x-men battle pass. Could also turn a location into ( the x-mansion ) as there are tons already unused on the map.
3. We hear a lot about fantastic 4 and given that dr doom is in the game first with the first marvel season, chances are they would be part of the battle pass / representing that part of marvel, we also would need a member from the brotherhood of evil. Maybe juggernaut?
4. There are a few characters from marvel that do fit into an apocalypse themed season as cable is from a future like that so within that timeframe we know a ton who can match that time line.
5. seeing any sentinels would be neat. Last time they were already destroyed by wolverine and we didn’t really get to fight any, would be neat to have some roaming the map for players to attack.
I just wish they added more for the Lethal Company collab

The bunker in the snow area could be a nod tho lethal company (idk if its true but you can see something orange in the trailer walking from side tho side when the t-60’s are shown)
When the Wanderer was first talked about during Myths and Mortals I honestly thought it was gonna be Kronos. But it’s pretty obvious now that isn’t the case.

The bunker could be also apart of some bigger fallout collab as first one of the most recognizable plot points are the underground vaults, second the brotherhood of steel (the ones who use power) are notorious for hiding in bunkers
about the bunker and transmission, i don’t think megalo don is talking about his ship as the leviathan, because he uses the term “awakes,” so i think he has a beast that was trapped by the gods under the snowy mountains, and he wants to awake and free it, i say this because we’ve had leaks of a Godzilla crossover, and I think this could be the perfect way to do it, have the “leviathan” awake, and to protect the island, the zero point summons Godzilla to stop it, then magneto does his thing and we get transported into season 4. just a thought
Edit: and what if the “wanderer” is doctor doom, we know he’ll be the villain of next season, so what if this is all part of his plan to resummon galactus or something

I think the queen Cerberus may have been speaking about was the Cube queen, her return has been awaiting forever in chapter 4 when the paradigm had to go to the moon we eventually saw the cube queens mothership in the back, she’s slowly reapproaching and will maybe attempt her devious plans again

I really don’t understand why they don't make 2 versions of the island for both builds and no builds. One version like they have now after this first nerf called Nitro Royale and another version that is just balanced extremely well. You could get wins on your record for either of the 4 game modes. You could base the competitions in the super balanced version of the mode for builds and no builds.
This way they would have been satisfying both ends of the player spectrum. All it would take is the different stats for either mode.

This chapter has alot of similarities to chapter 2, think about it. Season 1 introduced us to the new chapter of fortnite and shocked us. Season 2 was full of content compared to season 1 and more fun, it also had a bigger story. Season 3 the whole island has changed(water in chapter2 and sand this season). And as you stated season 4 is going to be a marvel season. Its like the fortnite story has been restarted to chapter 2, but in a different universe. We also had season OG before this, which could be this universes version of chapter 1
Something I never understood is who the leader of The Society was, like your telling me it's Oscar, the storyline focusing on Valaria, and than there's a loading screen with Montegue where the description says "I introduce The Society". It was just a super vague topic in the storyline.

I think it’s going to take part of an event or something. Maybe magneto will come out to save us, or be a villain. But I think the seven is in there. You know, the foundation. But he’s the only one that could be making those loud thuds.

Every Chapter’s story is always an interesting one, and I know that there’s two possible threats in the future, but I like to focus on the main one. Fortnite villains are always unique. The Cube Queen and The Herald sent shivers down everyone’s spines, Kado Thorne brought a unique plan to the island, The Society was kind of mediocre imo, The Gods actually felt like a decent threat, and now we’re up against Megalodon. He definitely gives off a big bad wolf vibe, and sure, we’ll be attacking Redline Rig soon, but I wonder what Don will bring in the upcoming story, and I also wonder how Oscar and Cerberus will be included as well. Only time will tell.
