i agree so much bro, the developers made it so easy this season for bots to run away when they cant handle build fights or just regular fights. for example, shockwaves, nitro fists, now a guitar that sends you across the map and has a short cooldown, also get this, it has INFINITE charges AND its EASY TO FIND.

I started in C3S2 where tanks, war busses, choppers, jetpacks *and* speed boats were all a thing. Having cars shoot at me is a little bit of nostalgia lite.
I feel like it’s kinda impossible to win because if your in the car you get shot at but if your not in a car you get run over

u playing solo? you can swap driver to shooter seats using CTRL or whatever button is the equivalent in your console (crouching)... the only issue in the battle pass is the boogie bomb

I think the problem is that epic doesn't do separated loot pools anymore. One for BR and one for ranked. Hence why many people are so tired of this!

I feel like a buffed anvil launcher would be a good counter. EMP grenades were very common so everyone could just stack up 12 or more of them and spam if the first few didnt hit the car. However with the anvil launcher, you are locked to a max of 12 and cant just spam it as you would have to line it up to make your attack count. Another thing could be an anvil launcher that slows down cars not to 0% speed but maybe 50% speed (like a net or something on their tires)

They need to double drop rates for the torch to fix cars, I can never find one when I actually need it but when I’m alone I can’t stop finding them.

One thing that confuses me is that everyone is saying they love this season because "all the sweats are having a hard time because they cant just build". I'm a casual player who doesn't even play build mode because of sweats but now I cant even play zero build because I cant even shoot at people now..
The only times I have died are from players with the mythic cars out lasting my cars health or getting ran over because stepping foot out of a car and running is, I guess, something I shouldn't be allowed to do in this season...
Nerf the car health so that you can shoot them down again with a regular ass gun and I bet you everyone will stop complaining.
EXACTLY i got to end of match and against 2 people in a car, didnt stand a chance they had boss car also, rest of my team was dead no point shooting at a hardened boss car just got ran over and machine gunned.
It's like 1.5 mags from most guns to kill a car.. they die so fast your just bad.

As someone else said, the problem is that it may be TOO good of a counter. With the season being entirely themed around cars, having something that you can just throw and instantly disable all of them AND deal 80 shield damage to the driver(s) would just discourage using them...
I personally feel like they changed alot of how you actually need to play but people are just too stubborn who just don't want to try to adapt
I mean my duo and I won a match yesterday without even modding a car or getting into any car fights. All gunfights and strategic travel on foot. Its not all bad
In top 15, there's at least 10 cars with guns running around in the small circle

I won my first game by hiding from the cars under the bridges, and even then I needed a car for the early game, a way to stop them needs to be added, though I think nerfing the guns so building can let you escape would help
got to final 10 in duos, 3 boss cars, 1 normal car fully decked out, and a duo just using nitro fists to basically just fly
Tbh the cars are not fun to go against but when your the one in the car its fun but I hope they lower the damage and lower heath on the bosses cars.

I dont mind the season, my only grip is that in solos/duos how if you get a medallion you also get a beefed up car. Its just too OP. Of the final 3 , usually there are 2 of the 3 boss cars there.

In solo, I got stuck in a boss car driven by another player... He got very close to me so my only option to survive was to enter the car... Once I was onboard, we were stuck in a lose-lose situation were he had to keep driving around without leaving his seat, same for me on the passenger seat with the turret. So we ended up cleaning the map and being the 2 remaining players... Boss cars have to be nerfed, they are way too OP.
The moving bosses isn't a problem. you can see which boss is cruisin around on the map before you jump from the bus

On the Mad Max thing, I believe it's gonna happen. Rust's emote HAS to be a reference and the whole car battle thing is just a given. Fun fact in a game I killed a bot with the username "MaximumMad" so I think it's apparent there's a collab in the works.
It’s so hard to pick a side. I rely on builds so much so I wish this was it’s own game mode with cars how they used to be in builds but the other half of me loves the high speed car chases the whole game. It’s so weird to not really have to loot anymore and it’s even weirder that most games the island is left alone
They should seperate the lootpool one for ranked one for pubs problem solved
I accidently got one of those challenges, I was freaking out why I couldn't use any of my heals.
As a player who quit in chapter 4, i personally loved the seasons like this that have came along the way which made Fortnite either feel fresh and like a WHOLE new game, or to wear there weren’t 10 mythics on the map and everything was a simple battle royale (Fortnite OG). As those 2 terms either bring it back to when the game wasn’t overwhelming by a meta you have to keep up with, or a who’s new meta everyone is adjusting to. It just made the game a lot more enjoyable for a more casual player as I’ve lost all my competitive reasoning in the game.
Yeah, Fortnite is all about pivoting, & there are so many peeps crying this season simply because they don't want to change their playstyle. I'm having a blast & I'm not a casual either. The game needs disruption, but most 10 years old's aren't going to understand that, or care.
Fortnite is just doing to much now, they need to get a group of Fortnite players together so they can test out the new weapons and features for the next season before it comes out so not everything would be to overpowered
This season is kind of appealing to noobs more than sweats and its mostly them getting furious, tbh i just LOVE the chaos its amazing

I’ll admit the vehicle combat is fun and adds a whole other layer to how you approach fights.
On the other hand I also agree that they are over powered af. Especially the SUV’s in squads or trios. Get a driver, someone to man the cannon and the back seaters carrying nothing but repair torches and you’re damn near unstoppable! Makes it super unfair to be on the receiving end of that.
So while it’s fresh and fun, there are definitely quite a few balancing changes that need to be made.
Im guessing epic is gonna add madmax collab in item shop rather than in bp so they can get people to buy like what they did with past collabs or they might make it a mini battle pass

I love this season as I was back when they released the vehicles and fuel in c2s3 so I love how cars have made a comback
In my opinion, this season's actually pretty cool. I've already been going nuts with the Nitro Fists, and just enjoying the season in general.
Also, when I looked at the Brite Rider skin, I noticed a symbol on her back that resembled a cloud with a rainbow thunderbolt. I saw it and immediately thought of the Cutie Mark of Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. It probably has nothing to do with MLP at all, but it does look a lot like that same Cutie Mark to me.
this season has its ups and downs I play ranked it's way different there is no skill a fix to ranked is to make it like competitive there is no cars tge cars are to OP and people just abuse them it's taken ge skill out of fortnite

I think the train may come back later. There is a strange mythic currently only obtainable from loot island spawning in. Conductor hand cannon. New potential boss who will get the train up and running on nitro steam power later is my guess.

I love this season. It feels like a whole new game and there would always be crazy stuff happening in matches. We need seasons like this to make the game fresh and counter the boring seasons. It also gives players that are not good at building a chance in a fight which makes it more strategic.

Reckon that for the story of this season it might ad a steam train to fit with the story of megaladon transporting nitro stuff around the Island as his motives r to take control of it completely. And over time the map slowly changes adding more larger themed locations or somthing like that
Magnito has been in apocalyptic setting in multiple comics and x men show he wore that armyer so it is actually matching with the seasons theme
Personally as someone who just started playing last season and being one of the very few players who liked cars I love this season but I do think that some things should be nerfed so that older players can enjoy it again

How to fix the balance issue:
-heaven weapons

-the harpoon to help jack cars from someone else.
-the featured weapons needed to be added at launch.
The cars are fun but there has to be a balance. As if you go up against a boss car, it's over. It's hard to stay alive if your car is gone. Nitro going through builds is hilarious. I'm all for the anti build season, just needed more polishing

I am at a mix this this season, I can't even do anything that I like doing best, plus the boss card shouldn't heal it's self at all, like that's so unfair considering there is only a few on the map and I'm tired of getting ran over and not only that when me and a friend are playing we have to play ranked zero build because of how sweaty the regular lobbies are

I think nerfing how much damage the nitro fists do (including megola don’s) and increasing the cooldown on the dashes and the uppercut could help fix that problem a lot. I mean they’ve done it before with the shockwave hammer.
In one match I landed on the battle bus, killed the machinist boss, and decided to use the car for the entire match with my teammate. 20 minutes later, I won the match with a crown and got an accolade for not building for the entire match.

It certainly feels that this season is fresh given the concept of the cars. However it does feel like the cars need a nerf (especially the boss cars) as well as another way to damage cars more. Also thought I would just say that I have used your code in the item shop and as someone who streams Fortnite on Twitch your videos are really awesome. Keep up the amazing work!

I do love this season because it feels new and it’s fun to play with friends, although I feel they should add anti car stuff like the anvil launcher, EMPs, and maybe clingers and the heavy sniper like C3S2. It would make it much more balanced
Never thought I'd miss the anvil but the emp and anvil deserve a much needed return a buff and maybe a cool wasteland reskin something simple but affective so everyone can just enjoy a battle royale game
They should make a no vehicle game mode but ad anvil launcher and emp grenades but without nerfing anything
The car stuff should be an LTM with no other weapons.
Maybe the mod-able cats should be limited to the 3 bosses, and then lock up/empty fuel after a certain amount of storm circles or when only 5-10 players remain

Half of the posts i have seen on twitter just require some situational awareness (and the ability to look at your visual audio indicators), and some calmness. I have seen clips of people beating boss cars in a 1v4 because they paly smart. It isn’t hard, people just freak out over new stuff

I really love the season but I'm more of a new player. I've heard they're adding a sniper to the loot pool soon that will do x3 damage to vehicles soon, so hopefully that will help make it easier for people who dont like the car meta. I think they made them so strong mostly so they could sell car skins, so they really needed to make them meta defining, in their eyes at least for profit. Also ifiremonkey leaked that next season during the marvel season Anvil V2 will be in the loot pool, so not in time for the mad max wannabe season but it hopefully will help any too op car stuff Next season lol
EMPs, Anvil Launcher, 500 less health on cars, less nitro damage, less grenade launcher shots = greatest season this chapter

And also reduce nitro fists build damage and then it will be amazing
ngl this would make cars useless. The big problem with balancing cars is the differnce between solos and squads. While cars in solos and duos are poweful, in trios and squads you quickly can get wrecked if you expose yourself for a bit too long

I think to the EMPs should be buffed not only to disable cars but to also to disable the turret/grenade launcher.
i am loving this season. i thought ch4 S1 was chaos with the hammer and deku smash both in the game, but now they took it to the next leven and i'm not mad about it
If you look at the Brite raider loading screen, you see a nitro powered sniper rifle which could be comming in the near future.
its coming but i want a season with no snipers please on god i hate snipers they are to op plus the cars its gonna be horrible

@@marcelolopes735it did but still not enough! 600 damage then wait 4 seconds to reload and by then the car is long gone with around 1,000-1,400 health still remaining..

I really like this season and adding back emp will be very good because it gives people a way to counter cars
I love season 3 so far but l wish they would have added more customizations to the power armor maybe even a nuka cola themed version
