I've known them since the beginning. They prepare themselves for all this. They are super talented. Paulina writes most of the songs and composes on the piano. Dany creates the riffs and Alê the bass line. They are a phenomenon. It takes at least 50 years to create something so perfect.
I never thought I would ever say this about any modern band, but every song they write is enjoyable, if not hit material. That's not an exaggeration. They are first and foremost a songwriting band. So pick any song from this Pepsi Center concert and you will be amazed. It doesn't really matter. You happened to pick the most low-key song from this show. Great song, but mellow by comparison. Their music videos are awesome, but their live shows are really something special. I can say that with authority, since I am a 30 year veteran of being a live audio engineer having seen many hundreds of concerts. These gals are by far the best live pure rock band I have seen in decades. So considering my line of work, I generally don't gush about bands. This one? Yeah.

Dany wrote it in 2015 when she was just 15 years old. It’s usually played with the full band, and there are several versions of them performing it live over the years. The most recent, besides this one, was at Teatro Metropolitan in 2022. Another great version is from their 2017 TEDx talk when they were 16, 14, and 12 years old. They also performed the song at a storytelling concert in 2018 at Agua Fría, San Pedro Garza García, Mexico, where Dany shared this about the song (translated from Spanish): "With your permission, I'm going to sit down to tell you a little more about this next song. Well, this next song is very, very, very special for me because, to be honest, I struggled a bit more when I first started as a composer. I remember being in Boston-we were studying at Berklee College of Music-and we had a composition class. It was a group class where each of us had to bring a composition. We would analyze it and see what could be improved. We had the task of writing a song. I remember that one day before class, I still had absolutely nothing. I was thinking, 'What am I going to do?' When she was 15, Pau 13 and Ale 10 they took a 5 weeks course at Berklee College of Music in Boston and their parents accompanied them, but towards the end Dany got really homesick and missed her friends and other family members, even though they told her not to worry and that they would be there when they got home. They were assigned to each write a song and this is Dany's.

While there is a Pepsi Center in Denver, this is in CDMX = Cuidad de Mexico = Mexico City (kind of how in the US we use NYC for NY City). There were 8000 of us ther ein the crowd that night. We sang along to everything. It was such a great performance.
