Both internet and anime (and thus Japanese culture) were really picking up steam in the mid nineties. She said he apologized and she forgave him. I don't think she would've married him if he wasn't otherwise a decent guy. Way to assume women just can't think for themselves lmao.
But that's to be expected from someone who is subscribed to Nijisanji EN, despite the fact that their most recent groups include abusers and rape fetishists. (When you know some people on the inside... you know 'em.)
Like, no joke, one of them used to make NSFW audios roleplaying as a 13 year old. For money. Basically faking CP.
One of the abusers mentally scarred his ex girlfriend by manipulating her relentlessly, and now he's some vtuber pretending to be all Hot and Sexy Cool Guy. In a community where there are a lot of minors and influential girls. Totally not a red flag!
Oh, and let's not forget that one of them has made a TON of anti-Semitic "jokes" (VERRRYYY anti-Jew material) right before joining NijiEN.
There are more, but I can't say too much without almost giving away my own identity....

Who the hell stays with let alone gets married to a man like that?! That is such a huge red flag japan's entire textile industry spent weeks making it. Girl run!

Where I’m from in the US I grew up hearing cicadas, so the sound of them in anime is quite comforting. In fact I can hear them right now!
Though, one of my exes showed me this anime ‘Higurashi; When They Cry’ and I never realized how effective cicadas were at creating a good atmosphere for horror and tension.

Where I live in the US also has a lot of cicadas too. In the summer, they are so loud especially at night.

People trying to imitate cicada noise on Twitter just like people on Facebook making a group dedicated to roleplaying as a colony of ants.

7:06 lmao I was having doubts in my mind that he's Japanese when he said みんなさん. I was like "wait, this doesn't conform to the meme, this guy typo or smth?" turns out he's not japanese or a half but got jp in his handle so I thought he's Japanese
not that it matters in the end but kinda funny that the meme I saw awhile ago was true
